Arrival

Hikaru was carrying his luggages uptairs, heading towards his new room. He just enrolled to Cross Academy, and was already sensing vampires. He opened the door to his new room, but recognized most of the stuff that was already in there. It was his dead cousin's tea set, clothes, the family picture, a mini stove, and a diary. Hikari picked up the old book and notices a piece of paper falling out. He picked it up, and noticed that theres some writing in it. Unless I am dead, please do not read this. I guess I should read this. After putting his clothes in the closet, his things in their places, and himself in bed, Hikaru opened the diary and began to read.

December 12

It has been getting colder and colder for the last few days. To my family, this is the greatest time to be outside. There hasn't been any snow yet, but its getting there. I pretty much slept all day, then after night class was over, I decided to visit the arcade to have a little fun. I saw Clous-san and one of the guardians playing an interesting game. They were good...... I said I call next after the first person gets a game over, but from the way they're playing, I doubt its going to happen. So I decided to walk outside for some fresh air. A bullet once again whizzed by my face, and I met the hooded girl again. After a few cuts and bruises, I managed to knock out the girl, then sliced off the explosive necklace. I got a few weird looks from people so I made the girl look like she was sleeping on my shoulder, while I was carrying her bridal style. Finally, I got back to the school. The only problem was that where am I suppose to put this vampire? Guess I should leave her in my room. Sounds kinda dirty now that you think about it.

December 13

Today was quite new. I got the vampire girl enrolled into the school. After escaping some girls, we got into the mansion, and had a nice chat with Clous-san. He said something about making a new order. The vampire girl wanted to talk to me in private. She said she didn't want to endanger my life, so he wanted to leave me. My instincts kicked in and I began to tell how much I love her. After a few yellings, we kissed each other for a good 3 minutes. Most shocking time of my life. She said her name was Kimiko Nishimura. I guess its official. We're boyfriend and girlfriend.

Hikaru closed the book, then stared outside. It was night time, and the time the night class is dismissed. I guess I'll have to take your place, Yukio. Rest in peace where ever you are.

Ariane was walking around the night class dorms, patrolling. Even though it was very likely not safe for her to be walking around at night alone, she just couldn't ignore her duty as a guardian. Besides, if she didn't walk around at night, who would protect the day class students? The moment Ariane thought the answer to that she immdiately shook it off. No, I got to do something other than just sit around. She scratched at the spot of her neck where she had got bitten. She shivered which was probably because of the 2 inch short shorts that held her fan and chain in the strangely deep pockets. She wore a holster like a belt that had all 3 of her guns in it. Along with the tank top she wore, both charcoal colored. Her blonde hair was down and she wore long over the knee boots that had 1 zipper running down the side. She flipped her hair so it would stay behind her and not over her shoulders.

After Hikaru finished the diary, he decided to explore the rest of the moon dorm. He strolled out of the room, and into the foyer. The fireplace was lit, and there were other vampires chatting about stuff. The level A vampire leaves the dorm, then strolls around the school grounds. I guess I have my motive now. Find the organization that killed my cousin and uncle. Hikaru's eyes became blue as he creates falling snowflakes around himself. This was a thing the Shidousha family does to relax on a non-winter day. As he continues his stroll, he notices a girl patrolling the moon dorm. A guardian or one of those crazy fangirls the others were telling me about? Mind as well say hi to her. Hikaru's eyes became normal as he approuches the girl. "Hello there. You wouldn't have to be one those crazy fangirls I have been hearing about?"

"A fangirl would get in trouble for carrying weapons." She pulled out Kiss her white secondary gun and held it in her hand with her palm open up, she then immdiately put it back in the holster. "I'm a guardian. My job is-well actually part of it is to keep those fangirls away from you. There are some pretty crazy ones, they have no limits and it gets even more crazier when the person their a fan of has no limits either. Espically this one girl who no matter what the cost will take a picture of a night class student. If you hate pictures I would watch your back, since she is like a ninja."

Was enrolled here because I know my cousin, Yukio Shidousha lives here. I'm Hikaru Shidousha by the way". Hikaru knew that if he is to be able to find his cousin's killer, he would have to get information from people, his cousin knew. "You see, I know nothing about this school except for the fact that vampires live here, and thats pretty much it, right?" The moon shines over the level A, making his blue hair shine. He looks similer to his cousin, except that he has blue eyes, not yellow. His stomach began to growl, indicating that its time for a meal. "I guess I better feed". He took out a small case, and dropped 3 blood tablets into his mouth. "That outta help, but now I need a nice 3 course meal. So, crazy fangirls come at this time of the night? They sound pretty desperate".

"By the way, I'm new here. Was enrolled here because I know my cousin, Yukio Shidousha lives here. I'm Hikaru Shidousha by the way." He's Yukio's cousin? Ariane thought. Well can't say I wasn't expecting this. "You see, I know nothing about this school execpt for the fact that vampires live here, and thats pretty much it, right." Ariane heard his stomach growl and immdiately stepped back. "I guess I better feed." Ariane watched him put 3 blood tablets in his mouth. "That outta help, but now I need a nice 3 course meal. So, crazy fangirls come at this time of the night? The sound pretty desperate." "If your thinking about feeding on a day class student don't that's against the rules. That's another part of my job keeping the day class students from being food. There are no warnings not even for you Hikaru if I have to I'll put you near death." Ariane's tone changed from dark to light. "Anyway as for your cousin. I'm sorry for your loss, I actually knew Yukio. Unfortunately you didn't really enroll at Cross Academy at a good time. Its kinda dangerous here, no, it is dangerous here. And even though I hate to tell you, your going to figure out anyway." Ariane paused. "Something bad is happening and has already happened to Cross Academy espically the night students. They've become...more aggressive and the vampires have split into sides. The side I'm on and my enemy's side. I have a feeling and I know its going to get messy. It unavoidable." She sighed before her tone turned light and happy again. "Well have a good stay at Cross Academy!" She said.

Hikaru took some more blood tablets, the drops them in a bottle of tea. "I could help you with this little war thing going on, but that would mean fighting other purebloods, so I'm gonna remain neutral, but I can help if you need information." The pureblood began to drink down the tea.

She began to walk away but stopped and turned around. "In case if you head into trouble and have no choice but to kill. The best way to kill a vampire is through the head or heart." Ariane then had a small desire for blood. She quickly put her hand in her shorts pocket where she had a blood tablet case in it and opened it to take one. Though before she put it in her mouth she quickly stopped herself and dropped the tablet before shoving the case back in her pocket. She swallowed hard and put her hand over her throat. Go away, go away, go away! She thought. Just go away! Please...go away blood cravings. Ariane took in a deep breath and slowly the cravings went away. She exhaled slowly.

He followed the scent until he stops in front of a tree. I can smell my family's blood smeared on that tree. Could it be where Yukio had died? Something shined from the moonlight had caught the pureblood's eye. Hikaru went to the shining object, and picked it up. It was a golden ring with emarald and sapphire in it. The ring was covered in dried blood. "I guess I found what I'm looking for... Rest in piece, cousin and his girlfriend". Hikari drops the ring in his pocket, thenwalks back to the moon dorm with a little relief he found the ring his mother had given Yukio.
