Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Hanashi Zetsubou on Wed Jan 27, 2010 12:28 am

The walk back towards the Sun dorms was... an akward one at least, in Hanashi's point of view. But, she didn't care. She was too tired to even think well.'I hope the twins are behaving... they can usually get... a little too happy when i'm not around to stop them when they're gonna do something..'.Then, a thought entered her head.

'The twins were acting.. very weird.More than usual.. I wonder what's up.., her hair moved elegantly in the wind.Of course, this made Hanashi shiver slightly and put her hands into her pockets since she was out of her stinking day class uniform.Ahh yes.The day class uniform. She hated that thing.Hanashi prefered jeans than skirts, even though she was raised to be polite and elegant she had always ignored it.Then, she became tomboy, well.. tomboy-ish.The woman still likes wearing dresses now and then.

A yawn left her lips, which she quickly covered with her hand. From the corner of her eye she looked at Yamiyo. Her blue eyes watching him, as if he could do something any minute. But, why was she so worried? He didn't seemed like he could do anything to her. Then again, after what happened with her and Luna's sibling, Aarón she was a little edgy with any pure blood at the moment.A sigh left her lips. She had to be careful. From the last episode she had with Yamiyo it seems as if he could sense her emotions at least, that's how it looked like.Maybe that's why she was so edgy.

As they arrived to the Sun dorms, Hanashi took the lead. She knew no one would be around at this hour to check on her, and if there was someone... well.. she hoped that something would happen to make them forget they ever saw her entering with someone from the Night class. Her footsteps were almost unheard, but sometimes made sounds as they walked towards her room.

"Well, this is it...", she said after what appeared to be an eternity of awkward silence. Her head looked upward slightly, making her blue eyes stare at the door. Then, she grasped the doorknob slowly. It was cold to her touch which made her flinch slightly. It reminded her of the pure blood. The door opened without making a sound as she entered then Yamiyo.

She closed the door when he entered. Her eyes glued to something that wasn't him.It was.. weird having him in her room.Maybe because he was a male?Pfft, like she cared. The only time she scared if there was a man in her room besides her father was because she was changing or bathing.

The room was pretty much simple. The walls were a light blue color. There was one bed, almost the basics of what someone that studied in Cross Academy needed.Though, if he looked really well he could see Hanashi had a lot of books. Most of them were fantasies, others just books for studying. She even had family photos neatly hid on the bookshelf. She took off her jacket, revealing her red tank top and she threw her jacket to the bed.Her blue eyes went towards the table she had, along with a chair. On the table there was a black laptop that she had for quite some time before entering Cross Academy.

"Please, sit down, Yamiyo-sama..", she said quitely, not looking at him directly as she sat down on the bed.Her eyes fixed on the ground."Aki-sama told me to calm you down.. since when you worry too much, you tend to talk in your sleep and move around..." she was using 'sama' at the end of his name, she didn't know why.Maybe she was just.. fragile at the moment.Another sigh left her lips as she leaned back to the bed, letting her back hit the soft matress. Her eyes were closed as she started thinking about what happened today while she waits for Yamiyo's reply.

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Aki on Sat Jan 30, 2010 6:43 pm

Yamiyo was quiet the whole time and tried not to walk too close to her. He could sense her feeling awkward around him and nervous even. He puzzled over this as they walked, all the while remaining calm on the outside. He thought she... She what? Liked him? Thought of him as a friend? He mentally shook his head. He was getting too far of himself. As she yawned he glanced her way and smiled very lightly, quickly looking away. He was very tempted to give her a kiss now, very. But he knew better and despite his.. nagging conscience, if you could call it that, he wouldn't.

Once they entered the Sun Dorm, Yamiyo also fervently hoped that no girls would happen to be up and around... He mentally shuddered at the thought. It was bad enough that the Night Class was SO popular.. but if they saw him with Hanashi, well... Humans did love to talk, didn't they? And the Night Class oh so rarely ever showed any real interest in the Day Class. Just what were the twins thinking?!

Had Hanashi had vampire-like senses, she would have been able to see the incredibly faint blush on his face as she invited him inside of her room. All he had thought he was going to do was... well escort her to her room and leave, not be invited to stay with her longer... alone... He hesitantly walked in and half swallowed as she shut the door. Silence. Cursed, cursed, awkward silence. Oh he could have done something to bridge up the silence, but that wouldn't be very thoughtful or appropriate of him.

He liked her blue themed room. It was a nice color, one that could very easily reflect your mood whether you were happy or sad or angry. And it only reminded him of her startling blue eyes even more... her beautiful blue eyes... He blinked a few times. He really did need to get her out of his mind. He decided to just take in her room even more, to not get distracted by the countless thoughts running through his mind right now. And he found he himself thinking of his younger sister. How strange these two were so alike and so different! So many books littered her room that for a moment he had really thought this was Aki's room, but he was reminded that her room was usually much neater and more organized... and it had a black colored themed setting.

"Ahh..." he started, trailing off as she took off her jacket. Had he been human he would have surely been bleeding by now. Luckily he was saved from explaining himself as Hanashi continued talking. D-Damn it... I shouldn't.... I want to touch her! I want to be near her... I want to touch her and kiss her and... AHHH What the hell am I thinking?! Yamiyo could hear the faint chuckle coming from his conscience and horribly tried to suppress it. He still couldn't get out the idea of having her body against his again or feeling her delicate body. Maybe she could see the faint blush on his face now? He really wasn't used to feeling this way about... well anyone, and he had lived a long time. He was almost six hundred centuries old now.

And despite not wanting to... he ended up staring at her. When she laid down her bed so many thoughts ran through his head that he had to force himself not to move and just stand there, focusing on breathing. He ended up cutting up a part of his wrist just so that the pain would remind him he couldn't and wouldn't do anything to Hanashi. And very briefly he wondered how human males stood this. Oh how he hated the twins and Aki so much right now. And as if she could hear him, she practically explained the whole thing to him. ... Of course, Aki. So innocent, and yet so... EVIL!

He wondered what the twins and Aki could possibly be talking about right. No doubt Aki would seize her chance to question the twins without them nearby and he had already slipped earlier when he told her loved Hanashi... But deep down within himself, he was happy and glad. Perhaps he had told Aki on purpose subconsciously, knowing that it would provide some sort of fun for her that might heal her just a little bit.

"I see," he replied at long last, settling down on her empty chair and trying desperately not to look at her for more than ten seconds at a time. He was doing a horrible job of it. A pureblood who had faced hordes of admiring fans and confused humans, thwarted several nobles and a handful of purebloods, lived several centuries, seen enough nude women in his life, been nearly killed once or twice was having difficulty talking to a teenage girl!

"Would you mind telling me more about yourself?" he asked. "I mean... I feel very attached to you and I would like to get to know you more. I... would be more than willing to share with you what I can as well. And I understand that there are some things we simply can't speak of," he quickly amended.

The centuries old pureblood mentally took in a deep breath to calm his unsteady self and closed his eyes briefly. The young man who had been paired with countless other females in the past was finally finding it hard to strike a conversation. Typically he never had to do anything, all he had had to do was simply say "hello" or give them a faint smile and they would simply start talking and eagerly answer most, if not all, of his questions.

But with Hanashi... Maybe it was because for once he actually liked the woman sitting before him. Because he was actually interested in her. He was willing to track her down year after year, fight off any who may threaten her, despite what damage it might do him physically, mentally, emotionally, or politically. And if she never chose him... well he didn't know what then. He would still stay near her, yes. Protect her, watch over her. Whilst he waited, he wondered if maybe this was just what one's first love felt like... or if this was how love really felt. Was she just a passing interest to him? ... Or did he want to be with her forever?

And that thought calmed his hormonal self drastically. Did he want to make her vampire? Or would he be like his sister and love her for as long as she lived, no matter what she would come to look like in the future. No matter what diseases might invade her body and mind? And he found this hard.

How had his younger sister managed this? She had chosen Sennyo for some odd reason, some reason he hadn't understood then but might understand now. Aki didn't want him to change. She had stayed by him even when he began to enter his thirties and had told Yamiyo she would stay by him even if he lived to be a hundred and fifty and she still only looked like a few ages under twenty. And that one day, if he ever found out what she really was and still wanted her... she might offer him the chance to become immortal and young forever.

What would he do with Hanashi if they were somehow to become... become linked? He didn't know and he wasn't sure either. What had made his little sister, who was barely considered a teenager or adult amongst his kind, make such a strong decision so quickly? He thought to ask Hanashi of that, but decided he'd rather get to know her a little more before asking such a thing. Have the twins ever offered her this? I know its not possible for them to make her one of us... But as nobles, they do have connections with purebloods. ... Has she even thought about this?

Post by Hanashi Zetsubou on Sun Jan 31, 2010 4:35 am

Hanashi was starting to fall asleep when Yamiyo spoke to her.His voice took her out of the clutches of the place known as "Dreamland", it also gave her a little more of an upbeat. She didn't feel that much sleepy anymore, which was weird. She got up and sat cross-legged on the bed, looking at Yamiyo now with her blue eyes.A faint glint could be seen as she was curious as to what he was thinking.

Yamiyo then asked her if she could tell him more about her. When he said that all she could do was blink. Why did he want to know more about her?Why has he so.. so... curious? That certaintly made Hanashi want to know. But he also asked that if she wanted to ask him about him, or Aki as well."Well...", she said. Her face looking serious as she was thinking on the words to say to the pureblood prince who was on a chair beside the bed."You know my name, that's a start. As you know, my father is a Vampire Hunter while my mother is a lawyer.Weird combination, right?", she laughed. It felt good to laugh with another person that wasn't the twins."I need you to be more specific... like what do you want to know about me?If you want to know how I met the twins, it's quite interesting, I'll tell you that", she was able to now finally look at him.As she concentrated on his face she noticed a slight.. blush? No way, it must be her imagination, right? She nodded to herself.'Yep, juuust my imagination.. curse you, imagination', as she fought with her mental self she remembered what Yamiyo said, at least, a part of it.

'I feel very attached to you', that made Hanashi stop. Her face looked blank. What did he mean by that?He meant it as he and her were very attached as friends, right? Then, why was Hanashi feeling so.. so weird?Nervous, excited, scared... all of those emotions ran through her as she tried calming herself down.'You're acting so stupid, Hanashi.Man up!', of course, she didn't mean that literally. She just told herself that to stop acting so much like... a girl? She mentally scolded herself. Was she liking Yamiyo? No, it can't be.She has never been attracted to the opposite sex before, so why now?Why with a pureblood like him?So many questions yet no enough asnwers.'It must be his seductiveness... yeah, that's it', she mentally nodded with herself.Every pure blood and noble(in her opinion) was seductive in his and her own way. They would try to get what they wanted, when they wanted with their handsome faces and whatnot. It made Hanashi mad to the point she wished that Vampires never existed in the first place.

But, that would be wrong, right? The innocent, not evil, Apprenticed Vampire Hunter, thinking of that? The Vampire Hunter's Assosciation would surely agree with her, while the twins would not agree.Even though she did infact think of such a thing, deep inside she loved having Vampires around. One, was the fact the twins entered her life.Such fun they had, and still do.Sad times they shared for one another when they were in trouble.Other times were random, which left them all saying "What the hell did we just do?" and start laughing.'Those were the days...', a smile spread across her lips. Her eyes showing a faint glint again, but this time it wasn't one of curiousness or mischief. It was.. unkown.Maybe she was happy ?She felt happy, but there was a nagging feeling in the back of her mind.Hanashi shouldn't have felt happy.'Ahh!Why am I so confused?!'

"But really, there isn't anything really interesting about my life", she said."Maybe you could ask me something, anything and i'll remember anything that I can about what you said.. I am really weird when it comes to that, right?I'm also forgetful so... I might have a hard time remembering", she scratched the back of her head.Smiling at him.It was like an every day conversation, as if she knew him for a long time and he was just coming for a visit. That's how it felt with him.

Then a thought came to her mind.It was already morning, well soon to be.The students would soon be getting ready to go to their classes."Yamiyo, I hope you won't get in trouble... it IS getting late for you, is it not?Shouldn't you be heading to the Moon dorms?", then another part of her mind screamed "What are you doing? You don't want him to go!", which was true.So she decided to add "If you do get in trouble.. let them blame me.. but please stay... just a little longer.. please..", she begged. Her happy side left a little. She didn't want Yamiyo to leave.Maybe she was finallly admitting something in her own little way by telling him to not leave?Who knows, but she didn't want to be alone that's for sure.

Aaron was around... not close enough for both of them to notice him but close enough to read Yamiyo`s mind, he was on the roof after a quick hunt in the woods, it was however getting too bright for his liking... truth to be told he did not mind the light itself, but the fact that his skin was affected by it as it was shining like a crystal well almost... that`s why his skin was cold to begin with, yamiyo`s mind was intresting to read, he could not remeber when he had read something this intresting for quite a while, he mind read his conversation with his inner concience which was rare, he did not know if he was supposed to cry or laugh so he did neither, well he was never much for either things so...

However there was a nagging feeling when he read Yamiyo`s mind, he could not stand the though of someone getting so close to the girl, let alone kiss?, but why did he care even at this distance? it did not make much sense to him he should not be affected by the girl now... that left him pondering for a while but he shrugged that though out of his mind and took a good look around to sense that no one was spying on him, he then mentally returned into Yamiyo`s mind it was somehow fun as if his mental conciousness was there even if for a few seconds at a time, it was somehow more intese as if he was actually there, maybe he was after all affected by the girl withouth he even realizing that, that`s impossible he though, then again i could be wrong, he wanted to try something special something he had never attemped to try before because he got slightly upset what this man had in store for this human, he obviously did not have any respect for humans or "love" or whatever he meant with that how could he even think that this girl would become a vampire and they could then "love" each other for all eternity? first off the girl had no clue on what he was thinking secondly she might not like a life as an immortal her first years would be painful, and even if she would want it Aarón would not allow it, that was just plain wrong. He would never allow that to happen why? it should have been obvious... any human should never become a vampire, any vampire should never become a human... (in mind off course) he would call this guy if only mentally selfish, greedy maybe he too was affected by the girl... he knew his ability to affect humans it had been so obvious, more than so he was not only popular with girls but also guys that alone explained his ability, because he did not think that half the human males at school would be gay now did he?

... you fool he mentally responded into his mind, but did not in fact try to speak to him telepathically which would sureley suprise both if he did... and he did, a third voice had entered yamiyo`s mind, immidietly when it happened Aarón was mentally aware of it, a silence went trough his mind as he listened to his reaction, his voice sounded so diffrent than his own voice, which was the only good thing he had experienced today, it was not like he wanted Yamiyo to know he was around or to know that he could speak to him mentally... several thoughts entered his head could he learn to use this ability more commonly but then again much like the humans ability to negate the effect of reading her mind this could be something similiar to this? maybe... there was simply no way of knowing right now could he connect with this guy and then learn from it futher on? intresting but he seriously had to learn what to say not to blurt out some information he had no intesion of sharing especially with this guy...

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Aki on Tue Feb 02, 2010 11:23 pm

He found himself enjoying her laughter. Her voice was more than musical to his ears. He loved it. Specifics? What about her life did he want to know? While Hanashi was having her own mental conflict, Yamiyo wondered about what to ask her.

He laughed lightly as she contradicted herself, saying she'd remember anything but she was extremely forgetful... Kind of like Aki was. When he looked at her again she was smiling. Ahh I can't think. She's distracting. He was in an awfully good mood. It was odd because he was usually preoccupied with something or other, usually something to do with Aki's well being and why he lived. Though he might have just solved that later problem.

What do I want to know? Normally it would be quite easy for him to ask about something in someone else's life when he was talking to a human... but again she was different, dangerously different.

His heart sunk as she mentioned it was getting late and that he should be getting back to his room. It quickly rose as she asked him to say a little longer. Knowing he'd probably regret this later on, he did it anyway. Getting up off the chair he went to sit beside her.

"I can stay as long as you want," he said warmly, taking her hands again, holding them briefly for a few seconds and then letting go, crossing his arms once more to hide the faint claw-like marks on his arms.

"And as to what I want to know... why don't you tell me about your views of vampires? Like, what do you think about us. Be truthful, please. I can sense your emotions remember? And... what do you think about immortality? I've always wondered why we live as long as we do and have never really found a real answer as to why we were given the ability to lead such long lives."

He silently prayed that he had asked her this in a way that would not offend her and that she would answer truthfully so that he could make better judgments later on if he had to... or ever got that far.

Had he not been so utterly distracted by Hanashi he might have noticed the intruder within his mind, but as of now he couldn't fully notice Aaron. He thought he felt something odd once or twice, but quickly brushed it away as he stole glances at Hanashi every few seconds. He was still clawing himself slightly to prevent himself from doing anything more drastic than the night before...

Hanashi smiled at Yamiyo. She was somehow glad he was gonna stay with her.And for as long as she wanted!Yamiy picked her hands in his, which made Hanashi feel nervous but he quickly let go.He then crossed his arms, she sort of noticed she couldn't see his hands which raised some flags in her mind but ignored it."I'm glad you're gonna stay..", she mumbled, wondering if she even heard what he said.

"Hmm..", Hanashi went deep into thought. Her head titled to the side, thinking about what Yamiyo said. Why would he asked that?Sure she told him to ask about anything, but that seemed like a weird question to bring up.But it was also good, she wanted to know what was her view of vampires anyways.Hanashi was somewhow glad he asked her."Well... it's quite obvious.. I hate them. Why do you think I joined the Vampire Hunter's Association?", she said very bluntly."Buut.. I don't hate all of them.I think you guys are.. interesting, very.I mean, if I hated every single vampire I saw, it would mean the twins wouldn't be near me and I would have kicked you out of my doormroom or killed you"

"Immortality?", she repeated the word as if it was a foreign word that she never heard before. Her face turned serious again."Well.. I was always curious how someone could live so long, seeing live pass them by, kids growing, turning into teens, then young adults to adults, then growing older and dying.. Do vampires wish to not be immortal?", it must've sounded weird(maybe because it did)but she didn't care. That's what she thought of immortality.

"Maybe.. you'll find that certain someone that'll keep you going.Even a person was with someone immortal they're love will stay, no?That is, if they really love one another", she shrugged her shoulders."Maybe.. the answer is diffrent for every immortal. No, it IS diffrent.Maybe they need something.. or someone to keep them going.. to let them know there is a reason to live.Even if the person they love is not immortal like them, I think the love between them will stay for centuries to come, no?Even if they are purebloods, nobles or whatever"

Then, her blue eyes stared at his arms.Hanashi frowned."Ne, why are you hiding you're hands, Yamiyo-san?Are they injured?", she asked, curiosity growing inside of her as she got close to his face, even though she was a little nervous she was also slightly worried."Let me see", she slowly let her hands touched his arms.To anyone else who might have been watching this it might have seen she was doing something towards Yamiyo.Something sensual, perhaps? She didn't think anything about that. She was just worried slightly about his... unsual behaviour to hide his arms.

[OOC: okay nvm about that i already got an idea ^^;;;]

IC: HE had heard enough, he could not stand it, if it was not for his mental strenght he would have bursted into that room and teared that guy apart, but that was not his style, last thing he needed was massacre in his account, and ontop before the human, it was odd he had no data on this girl not even a name?, he must ask that next time he would meet her, but now he had to leave, only to return when the girl would be alone, he disconnected his mind with yamiyo took a quick glance around the roof and dissapeared in a second...

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Aki on Fri Feb 05, 2010 11:23 pm

He smiled lightly as she mentioned that she was glad he'd be staying. Does this mean she likes me... or is she still worried about last night? He had been prepared for the worse when he asked her what she thought of vampires... but the fact that she was so blunt was a little bit of a surprise to him. Good thing you didn't say that to any of those other vampires... They'd have kill you. So she didn't quite hate vampires as much as she said she did. So what exactly defined a vampire to be hated and a vampire to be... to be... to be what? Liked? Tolerable? Yes, tolerable, that was the word.

He laughed lightly at her words. "I don't think you'd be able to kill me that easily, Hanashi. But do go on," he explained. He paid attention closely now. Hopefully it would give some kind of an answer. Now that she mentioned, why was it that he didn't-- Oh... right. He had never bonded with any humans before. It had always been vampires so the whole "seeing lives pass by, kids growing and changing, aging and death" thing didn't really affect him much. But now? Yamiyo mentally sighed. Why, oh why did he have to like her so much? "Do vampires wish to not be immortal?"

... Do... we wish to not be... immortal? he repeated to himself. It was a strange concept, one he had not thought of before. He had never really thought about their long lives before, not seriously anyway. In fact, he thought very few of them ever did or would. They were all so... accustomed to it. To not be able to live for centuries was like... was like... He couldn't picture that. And now previous conversations he had had with Aki began to play in his mind. They were very similar he thought. Ahhh, why did they both have to think so alike? He was curious as to why he liked this girl and so far the answers weren't very comforting.

One conclusion he had come up with was that since she was so similar to Aki, he wanted her because he knew he could never have Aki for himself, even if he... didn't like her that way. The other was just that something about Hanashi attracted him. Maybe she had some vampire blood in her, well most if not all Vampire Hunters did, but maybe the vampire blood in her was stronger than others? Nothing he thought of could make sense.

He swallowed as she mentioned finding a life long partner. Was she messing with him now? Or was she just that oblivious to his love for her? ... Maybe both? Hanashi... Her words were comforting, confusing, and painful. He grimaced ever so slightly as she now took notice of his arms. It hadn't been such a good idea to sit next to her after all. His breath caught as she moved even closer to him. This time he was sure she could see the blush on his face. He shivered slightly as her gentle hands touched his skin. So cool, so soft, so caring... It was so confusing. "I know not what to do in your presence. Your words so full of both light and darkness, I know not if I should take them for ill or for good," he murmured quietly, referring to her earlier point about finding something... or someone... to be his reason to live. He had meant to think it, but had instead spoken out loud.

He slowly uncrossed his arms and let her gaze at his bloodied arms. Had it been human nails that had attacked him, perhaps he would have already healed by now, but... vampire nails? No. It would take a little longer, and the wounds were deep. Sounds of the living could be heard now. The Day Class was beginning to awaken. In just a few more hours they'd all be awake and then he and Hanashi would truly be alone. But that thought wasn't affecting him too much. He was mesmerized by her scent. Her scent seemed unique to him. He felt sure he could pick her out amongst a thousand others at a moment's notice. He closed his eyes briefly and slowly breathed in. He wanted to remember this moment. He knew that she didn't mean anything right now, but to him it was enough of a memory for him. He was almost tempted to tell her the truth when he next looked at her again. She truly was beautiful to him, as beautiful and delicate as a rose... but he knew he must always be careful for a rose too was dangerous.

I would gladly die for you... And he truly did believe in that, even promised that. Maybe he really was in love. He needed to talk to Aki, but not now. He would stay with her as long as she would let him. There was time enough to talk to Aki about this and he sensed that she too was confused. Perhaps she would like to talk to the twins as well. He supposed he would stay long enough for her to fall asleep and then leave about half an hour afterward. He wanted to look around her room more, see what books she liked to read, maybe get a better feel for what she was like. Books, he knew, tended to reveal a lot about someone. Maybe he'd see what kind of music she listened to as well. Or more likely, he'd be staring at her, memorizing her image and very essence into his mind, heart, and soul.

For a moment Yamiyo thought he could sense someone... inside of him? But then it quickly faded. Odd... I wonder what that was.

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Hanashi Zetsubou on Sat Feb 06, 2010 11:55 pm

Hanashi playfully glared at the pureblood."I'm willing to take my chances.. If I didn't know you.Lucky, lucky man", she said jokingly, shaking her head back and forth.Did he not belive that she could actually kill him?Well.. she couldn't.Damn him.She was still an Apprentice while he was a pureblood of course she didn't have the power to kill him. He's a pureblood for god's sake.But.. she could've gotten someone else to kill him.At that thought it made her stomach have a strage feeling. One of.. regret? That if that indeed were to happen now, she would feel reget?What.The.Hell.

She never felt this feeling before, so why now?Hanashi heard Yamiyo's words and pondered for a minute."I suggest you take them for...good?",s he didn't expect her words to have such an effect on him.She was just stating something.Maybe he was slightly sensitive?Hanashi found that quite nice since almost all the men she knew were idiots-well... more idiotic than usual.

Her eyes slowly widened as he slowly uncrossed his arms. His arms were bloodied, which made Hanashi get even more worried(if possible) at the pure blood prince, though she didn't try to show it."What the hell, Yamiyo?!", she asked him, quite angry that he was hiding bloody arms from her.She was about to chew his head off with a few more questions when she heard a few of the Day class students already leaving their rooms.Hanashi quickly knew who would be up so early in the morning."Fangirls..", she grumbled as she leaned away from Yamiyo and got out of the bed.She had already taken her shoes off and she was walking towards the bathroom.A few noises were heard coming from the bathroom such as "Damn it!" or "I oughta.." then Hanashi appeared out of the bathroom with a first aid kit.Reasons to why she was maybe cursing were unkown, maybe it was because the first aid kit was too far out of her reach?Yes, that's it.

"You're arms weren't like this when you first entered", she walked back slowly to the bed, a white box was clearly seen since she was holding it with both of her hands and it had a red cross painted in the front, meaning she had found the first aid kit.Hanashi sat back down on the bed and she placed the first aid kit on the bed. Then she opened it."Did you do this yo yourself, Yamiyo?", her tone was one of annoyance. She was ready to bite him to death for doing something so idiotic as that. But that also proved she was worried about him, even if she ever denied it.

From the first aid kit she picked up the disenfectant.Hanashi quickly spoke before eh even dared to."I don't know nor care if you're wounds heal fats or slowly.I am taking care of those arms, got it?", now this tone was strict and it held a murderous intent. The woman did have a nasty angry side whenever she got worried... From the first aid kit, she got out a cloth and then she applied the liquid to the cloth. Then she closed the disenfectant and place dit back into the white box and turned her attention at Yamiyo's bloody arms."It may sting..", she said.Placing the cloth on one of his bloody hands then repeating the same action with the other and a new white cloth on his other arm. Both of the cloths were now covered with blood as Hanashi applied pressure to the wound slightly. Then, the woman got out from the first aid kit some wrappings for both of his arms. She quickly got the bloodied cloths away from one of his arms and replaced it with the wrappings, carefully wrapping his arms and make sure it wasn't loose or anything, then she repeated the same action with the other arm.

A sigh left her lips as she clapped her hands together."Done.Now..., she got closer to his face, their noses touching."Care to tell me how did you get those bloody arms?"

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Aki on Sun Feb 07, 2010 4:08 am

Truth be told he was a little amused, he had never imagined she'd react like this. He was about to explain his arms... somewhat... but Hanashi was already getting up. Instead he just sighed and crossed his arms again. That girl... Just when he thought to ask if he ought to come help her, she came back out with the first aid kit.

Once again he was about to talk, but stopped as Hanashi beat him to it. He nodded in response, the girl just had to be so insightful, didn't she? Couldn't be helped. She was a Hunter after all. When she asked if he had done it to himself he was about to say yes, but she once again... beat him to it. And now he could no longer protest to her about having to use a first aid kit when he'd heal fast enough. This should be interesting, Yamiyo had never had first aid applied on him, not a human's version anyway. Usually first aid to a vampire meant giving them blood......

"It may sting..." DAMN! It hurt like hell! How did humans stand this?! Yamiyo merely stayed still and closed his eyes. How in the world humans could stand this... no how this kind of pain could be called aid was a mystery to him! It HURT! But he wasn't going to let Hanashi know that.

I should really explain myself, but you're going to speak before I can... again. Might as well wait till you're done. Though this is quite odd... don't Hunters normally kill[ a vampire, not heal it? But I'm glad she cares so much about me... I didn't thiink she'd get this upset. Is she just naturally like this, or does this mean something? Man, I wish I could ask the twins about this, but they're just going to tease me, no make that kill me mentally. Yamiyo mentally sighed. You'd think they'd actually try to help me, seeing as I only want the same thing they want: for Hanashi to be happy. But... they like her a lot too. Wait... They're brothers and they both love her so how the hell do they put up with each other?

As he opened his eyes, he caught her sighing and getting up close and personal with him. In those few seconds several, several scenes played out before him about what he could do. All he had to do was choose. He might get hurt for this later... either by Hanashi or the twins or both... but he couldn't help himself. He considered it a little payback for not letting him talk earlier. Yes, he could get angry and upset, but right now it was more playful than true anger. He was 99% sure Hanashi was going to smack him after this... or worse, but it would be fun to play with her a little. Just a little. As long as she didn't use her gun after this of course...

His hands easily rose to her shoulders and he grasped her lightly but firmly. With minimal effort he pushed her down and was effectively hovering over her, still close to her face he replied, "To stop myself from doing this." He soon let her go and sat back up on his own. Now adopting a more serious tone he continued. "I'm afraid you don't know your own beauty and charm Hanashi dear. I may be a vampire and several centuries old but... I am still a male. Still alone and as you said earlier... I suppose I'm searching for someone to spend all my long life with. I have considerable self control, yes, but even so I like many others of my kind can only be pushed so far before I become very tempted to do things I would rather not do but may want to do deep down inside of myself."

Yamiyo was mentally trying to kill himself. AHhhh! I'm such an idiot! Why didn't I just tell her the damn truth?! Its not all that hard to just say "I love you Hanashi" is it?! Ughhh I could've kissed her right on the lips too! I mean she was right there! If I kissed her it wouldn't be entirely my fault... I mean she... AHHhhh! I am sooo stupid when it comes to girls! No you aren't. You're just stupid when it comes to love Yami-kun. Oo imagine that! What if she called you Yami-kun, and if she was-- Oh shut it. I got enough images of her in my head already. I don't need anymore images of her from you. Stop trying to make me... me... Me what? Kiss her? Say "I love you" to her? Wrap her in your arms? Touch her? Str--

"I HATE YOU! JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!" Oo... you did it now. You do realize you just told the woman you love "I hate you. Just shut up already." don't you? Good luck explaining yourself on this one!

Yamiyo groaned. Craaaaaap... what the hell am I supposed to say?! I... I can't tell her the truth! She'll think I'm insane or crazy or... or... Ughh. I swear this conscience is going to end up getting me killed! He could of course had used his powers and change her memory just slightly... but he was too much of a gentleman (or too much in love with Hanashi) to do so.

DAMN IT! I hope none of the girls here heard my voice... CRAP! I'm such an idiot! AHhhh!!!!!!!!!!! How stupid could I have possibly been?! as he realized he had "yelled" earlier and that this was a girl's dormitory... In other words, the sound of any guys would bring suspicion... and he knew most of the human girls knew him by voice as well as looks! He wished and prayed and hoped that above all else, no day class girl would come running to Hanashi's room, and he hoped to high heaven that no teacher came either. God what a mess that'd be!

When Hanashi felt his hands rising to her shoulders and grasping it lightly she was nervous then he pushed her down which caused the female hunter to blush. He hovered over her, their faces close to one another, which was not helping the blush on her face to go down.Stop him from doing what? She blinked as he stood up back to his original position and had started speaking with a much more serious tone.

Hanashi was about to speak but he spoke once again, saying she didn't know about her beauty and charm.Of course this made her blush again in cofusion(and embarrasment) as she looked at Yamiyo, trying to see what he meant by that."I... uh don't know what to say..", what could she say?She was shocked that he told her that.Opening up to a Hunter was a bad thing to do, especially if you're a vampire, no?Then.. why?Hanashi could see that Yamiyo looked like he was having a conflict within his mind, or at least that's what it looked like. She slowly got up and was about to place a hand on his shoulder but the seven words that came out of his mouth made her freeze up.

"I HATE YOU! JUST SHUT UP ALREADY!" , she flinched and retreated her hand back.Hanashi stood there, her eyes wide and she appeared to look.. broken?Meanwhile a knock was heard on her door."Hanashi-san?", it was one of her classmates. She shook her head, as if trying to forget what she heard from the pure blood but it was still ringing in her ears. She got up, ignoring the pained look she had on her face and replaced it with a cold look. She opened the door slightly just so that her eye could only be seen.It was none other that Kyoko. Her short orange hair that ended just at her neck moved slightly as she tilted her head a little. Her light brown eyes that had a slight tint of gold looked at the eye of the Hunter who was glaring at her."What?", she asked codly, not liking the fact that Kyoko knocked at a bad time.

"I was just wondering.. I thought I heard Yamiyo-san's voice--"

"It was just you're imagination;now leave.I didn't sleep well and i'm planning to cut school to get some rest.If anyone asks, tell them i'm just out.But I doubt they'll ask so keep you're mouth shut.Ok, Kyoko?"

The said girl sighs, not liking the fact that Hanashi was acting cold towards her or well... more colder towards her.Maybe it's because she hasn't gotten any sleep... "A-Allright.. Sorry that I bothered you, Hanashi-san", she smiled at her then bowed and left quickly to do god knows where she went.Maybe to class even though it was too early for that.

She closed the door again and made sure it was locked.A sigh left her lips as she just stood there, watching the door or trying to burn it with her eyes."I suggest you leave, Shitake-san.If I don't get my rest, I can get quite angry...", she lied.Of course she was tired but also kinda shocked/hurt/angry by his words. She crossed her hands as she just stood there in front of the door, not bothering to look at Yamiyo because if she did... she would explode in front of him.She wondered if the twins ever told him she can loose her temper quite easily...

Spoiler:
[Kyoko]

[lol Just had to cause drama]

Yamiyo swallowed hard as looked at her and knew beyond doubt she was pissed off. And then someone came before he could correct himself. He couldn't quite see her face anymore and right now he wasn't sure what he should be doing. Leaving? Apologizing? ... Comitting suicide?

"What?" He cringed somewhat. It was like she was talking to him too. His heart pounded wildly as she explained. Yep, she was mad. Very mad. For a second he wondered about calling out to Kyoko... maaaaybe get her to help a little bit? Hanashi wouldn't hurt him... and he wouldn't hurt her... but he was pretty sure that if Hanashi was mad enough at him she wouldn't mind punishing him...

The door shut, or slammed shut in his mind. He wished she'd look at him. A sigh. Annoyance or anger? His mind blanked out again. She wanted him to leave... A great weight fell on him then. But in the back of his mind he was wondering if she was angry with him because of what he had done... or what he had said... or both?

He thought back briefly. She had blushed, hadn't she? Sooo.... No. She was probably just embarrassed or shocked. But now she was angry. ... You are an idiot! You dumbass you can sense her emotions! This is the perfect time to tell her everything. But she's angry... ............. You have got to be kidding me. Can you not tell that she's hurt?! And shocked?! Not to mentioned confused? Do you honestly want to leave like this and let her think you HATE her? Shocking how his conscience was finally helping him... or was it?

Yamiyo closed his eyes and almost groaned. Why did his conscience have to choose now to be helpful? Because you're a moron when it comes to love! Yamiyo sighed mentally and got up.

"I'll leave... if that's what you really want me to do. But... I didn't mean what I said. I was...." he stopped momentarily. He was going to sound like a complete idiot. But with some prodding from his now newly turned conscience he continued in the same sincere, quiet, grave, soft, apologetic tone. "I do not ask for forgiveness. Why forgive me when it is my fault? Instead I ask that you try to understand. You see... as I said earlier, you're much too charming and beautiful for your own good. Within me I longed to do terrible, terrible deeds to you... but the darker side of me kept on trying to make me comitt such horrific deeds. Those words I said were not meant for you. They never were and never will be. If I... I were to tell you what I truly wish to tell you then I would say...." He began to falter, blushing now.

He reached out for her again and placed a hand on her shoulder, swallowing he continued. "Please look at me... I... I lo--care about you a lot. I would never want to hurt you and I--" He was cut off as another student came by.

"What's going on?! I heard someone! I heard them! I heard them! Who's in there?!"

Yamiyo half groaned. Why did she have to come by now? WHY? Just when he had had the nerves to tell her the truth an annoying girl had had to come and ruin it... Persistant thumping on the door began. No doubt it would attract the attention of others.

"Mmm! Don't lie to me! I heard someone in there and I'm going to find out whos in there! I know someone's there! I heard Yamiyo! I HEARD HIM!"

Feet... cursed pounding feet... What should he do? What should he do? He didn't have any powers like Aki that could help him hide. Bathroom? ... Sure? Window... Yes. So....... hide or leave? Hide. The pureblood murmured a quick apology before giving her a small kiss on the check and then running off to the bathroom and becoming very, very quiet. He hoped that the girls wouldn't tear her room apart trying to find him.....

Man, why couldn't this girl have been like Kyoko? Wait... who was she anyway? He had heard her voice before. ... ... ... HARU! Creepy, weird, obsessive fangirl of his........ Greeeaaat, just great.

A 'Hmph!' sound was heard coming from Hanashi. No doubt she's angry, sad and confused about this whole ordeal. Her glare towards the door soften as she heard him explain. He really is a gentleman after all...?'

A hand was placed on her shoulder. She flinched, not expecting him to be up already and behind her.Hanashi wanted to look at him, but she couldn't, or better yet she would fall for him right there if their eyes would meet."Please look at me... I... I lo--care about you a lot. I would never want to hurt you and I--"

""What's going on?! I heard someone! I heard them! I heard them! Who's in there?!"

"Mmm! Don't lie to me! I heard someone in there and I'm going to find out whos in there! I know someone's there! I heard Yamiyo! I HEARD HIM!"

Her soft eyes now turned cold and were glaring at the door. She knew that voice anywhere."Haru...", she growled then blushed once again when Yamiyo gave her a quick kiss on the cheek. She was gonna kill Haru for banging on her door. Her eyes fell on the bathroom.Looks like he decided to stay hidden instead of leaving.A small smile was on Hanashi's lips then her smile left as she opened the door, glaring daggers at the woman.

"What do you want, Haru?I am quite annoyed that I didn't get any rest so you better make it quick if you know what's good for you.I don't care if I get expelled or worse, but if you say anything that's out of line, I swear to god, I will make you're life is miserable or.. worse..", her tone was menacing as her eyes glared daggers at her.An aura of murderous intent surrounded Hanashi.Haru had to be careful, or Hanashi might end up "biting her to death".

Yamiyo really couldn't do much while hiding, but he was relieved to find that Hanashi didn't hate him so much now. Being the idiotic curious male he was, he couldn't help but glance around the small room taking in the things that were there. (Thankfully there weren't any articles of clothing lying around.) For the most part it was quite ordinary. He was tempted to start opening drawers and cabinents..... but that was going a little too far?

"Where is heeeeeee?!" whined Haru as she ungracefully strode in despite the obivous warning from Hanashi and began to look around Hanashi's room in completely impossible places for Yamiyo to hide: behind the bookcase... under the bedsheets... and so on... "I know I heard him!" cried Haru as she began to look inside of Hanashi's closet, throwing out things and grumbling to herself.

The other girls just stared at first and then smiled sheepishly before apologizing and quickly disappearing. They had gotten the message at least. Haru though...... still looking. "I bet he's in the bathroom!" Was this girl even aware that Hanashi was in a foul mood and that this was Hanashi's room?

Yamiyo swallowed. Where to hide? Where to hide? Where to hide? There was a window in the bathroom, but it was a tad bit too small for him to get through with ease. Cabinets? Too small and cramped. The shower? ... Like that'd be any good. The screen was practically clear. But it was his only shot right now. His heart was pounding again, but this time from panic. He could hear her coming closer and closer...

As the woman entered Hanashi's room, her glared deepend at Haru. She was starting to think that maybe killing this woman was a good idea... Hanashi's glare deepend even more(if possible) at the woman that was going through impossible places for Yamiyo to be.I don't care if I get kicked out of the Vampire Hunter's Association... but if she doesn't leave soon..., her own mind was cut off as Haru went through her closet, throwing things out.

"I bet he's in the bathroom!"

Craaaaap!Hanashi's eyes widened for a second or two as Haru walked towards the bathroom."Wait!", was Hanashi's reply as she grabbed ahold of Haru's wrist and pulled her away from the bathroom."You must've heard me an Yamiyo talking through the phone... we are together after all", double crap.Hanashi mentally tried banging her head to a wall. Why did she say that?!They weren't together!Hell, they barely knew each other!

"Anyway.Get out of my room.I am dead serious, woman", the grip on Haru's wrist became tighter as she pushed her out of her room with all the force she had at the moment and locked the door."And stay away from Yami-kun!", she screamed at her through the door then realized what she said."What the hell did I just get myself into?!", she said as she slid to the ground and let out a sigh of relief.

"... H...Huh? T... Together.... Y-You and Yamiyo-kun are... are... are d... dating?!" screeched out Haru. She was too stunned to register the pain in her wrist from Hanashi's grip. As the door half slammed shut Haru and the other girls on the floor heard Hanashi's scream of "And stay away from Yami-kun!" Joy.

"What the hell did I just get myself into?!" Yamiyo was still red in the face from hearing Hanashi's words. Sure she didn't really mean them... (he wasn't sure if that was a good sign or not) but she had still said them, meaning somewhere inside of her it was partially true or she wanted it to be.

Yamiyo too let out a sigh and came to squat down in front of her, a faint smile on his face. I told you soooo!!!!!!!!! He chose to ignore that at the moment. "Mmm so when exactly did I become yours Hanashi? he asked playfully. A hand went to her forehead and he ruffled her hair. "Its alright. Rumors are rumors. It was bound to happen either way, anyway. You did good. Charming, sweet, beautiful, and intelligent." He let out a sigh and stood up, hands in his pockets. "Haru can be annoying, but you handled her well. At least she didn't see me right?" he smiled. "That would have been much worse than her just thinking we're going out though... I mean me alone with you in your room when everyone's about to be gone..."

He sighed and squatted back down to meet Hanashi's eyes. "Hey, since we're going out and all now... Can I have a kiss?" he joked, trying to cheer her up.

She was glad that Haru didn't come back, or else she would've had to pull out Kage.Hanashi then noticed that Yamiyo had squated down in front of her."Mmm so when exactly did I become yours Hanashi?", Yamiyo asked, making Hanashi blush. Then a hand went to her forehead to ruffle her hair."S-Shut up!", she glared at him while the red spread over her face. But why did she actually say that?Did she, somewhere deep down wanted Yamiyo for herself?Who knows... but it was more of a maybe, since she was feeling something for him.Something she had never felt for no one else before.

She turned her head away, trying to control her blush but it wouldn't go away as Yamiyo continued to talk.Hanashi was still mad at him, but she knew she couldn't stay mad at him. Why?God only knows.

"Hey, since we're going out and all now... Can I have a kiss?", he joked with her, trying to cheer her up, but it only made her much more angrier.Didn't he notice that she was starting to like him?"Fine, but you asked for it", she said. Her face getting closer to his.Her blue eyes closed as she titled her head slightly, her cheeks slightly red as her lips connected with his.Her hands gripped the front of uniform as she kissed him.The only thing going through her mind was:What the hell am I doing?!

She was kind of cute when she was angry. "Fine, but you asked for it." Wha... He hadn't been prepared for a real kiss! As their lips collided he could feel her emotions quite clearly. She... liked him? He wasn't aware of it, but he had wrapped his arms around her waist and was kissing her back.

I don't to let go of her. DUDE! You DON'T have to let go of her! You're ALONE in a ROOM. NO ONE IS HERE. YOU CAN DO WHATEVER YOU WANT! What kind of a man are you?! But Yamiyo was able to ignore his conscience now, for the time being anyway.

He stopped kissing her for a moment, knowing she might want to breath... and reconsider what she had just done. "You shouldn't do that... When I get physical with someone I tend to be able to sense their emotions very easily and can get more than I usually get. I'm.... I'm sorry. Normally I can sense what people are feeling but.... I've been ignoring my abilities as of late. I feel that taking shortcuts to get to know you would be unbecoming of me. And I'm probably taking advantage of you too. I'm really sorry. I... I shouldn't have asked you that. I.... I should leave now. Sorry. I'm really sorry."

He slowly began to let go of Hanashi, despite his conscience yelling at him not to and to just keep kissing her... Even despite himself not wanting to, he was letting go of her. He really felt that he was taking advantage of her and that he should leave before things got out of hand, but oh how he just wanted to feel the warmth of her body again. To share her emotions and feelings... To understand her...

Hanashi was.. was.. she didn't know. She felt shocked that she kissed him and she was even more shocked that he returned her kiss and wrapped his arms around her waist as well. That made her feel slightly... happy? Was she starting to like him?Even love him?She didn't know.

Now, the hunter needed air, and as if Yamiyo read her mind, he stopped kissing her.Her breathing had become ragged, her face was slightly red.She had just given Yamiyo her first kiss.. Why?Who knows. Then, she got confused, her eyes blinking as she heard Yamiyo explaining.Taking advantage of?She wasn't letting him take advantage of her, she, deep down somewhere wanted to kiss this man, so why now did he say that?

"N-No..", she gripped onto his uniform tighter. Her eyes started at his golden eyes. She was at a vulnerable state now.She has never opened up to anyone like this.So.. why?Why did he want to leave?"Why are you gonna leave?", she begged him.Her eyes starting to hold tears back. She has never shown this side to anyone; not even the twins! She let go of him as she turned her eyes away from his."I-I don't know... did I do anything wrong?I just wanted to show you... how I felt.. you weren't taking advantage of me.So, stop beign so apolegetic... Yami-kun" she knew she couldn't stop him if he wanted to leave. But she would be very sad if he did in fact leave, then if the twins saw her later with the saddened expression she had on her face, wouldn't they try asking her what's wrong? Then, if they found out who was the culprit... it wasn't gonna be a pretty sight.

"But if you want to leave, be my guest... I won't try to stop you..", of course she wanted Yamiyo to not leave, hug her say "everything's ok".But that won't happen, will it?Damn you, love.., she mentally shook a fist at the emotion she felt inside of her.

His eyes widened slightly and as she looked up at him he almost, almost kissed her again. He soon found himself wrapping his arms around her again. "Hanashi..." he said softly, not too sure himself of how to proceed. He didn't want her to cry. He didn't want to be the reason why she'd cry. If she was going to cry because of him... then he had to make sure she wouldn't cry.

Not really thinking, he pulled her closer to him. "Don't cry Hanashi, please don't. An angel dies everytime you cry. Your tears don't just fall, they crash... crash down upon my soul. When you are sad the world itself will weep," he said softly, raising a hand to brush away the faint tears that were there.

"Its alright. You didn't do anything wrong. But do you really love me?" he asked quietly, a hand running through her hair. "I just need to know from you personally and then... maybe I can stay. Its just that with my powers I'm never too sure if I like someone or if someone likes me. Most of the time I just feel a little attached because they feel attached to me, and most of the time they're not even sure why they're attached to me," he explained.

When Yamiyo wrapped his arms around her, Hanashi didn't feel the need to cry anymore. Her arms wrapped around his neck automatically, her head nuzzling into his neck. Was this just a spur of the moment? She didn't certaintly think so.Maybe she really was falling for him.The real him, not the "Pure blood Shitake Yamiyo".But it was too soon to tell, but she wanted this to work.

She laughed a little as his hand brushed away a few of the tears that lingered."Yami..", she nuzzled into his neck more, not baring to look at him."I feel as if.. as if I could love you.. for you.If I really do love you... I want this to work.. so we need to get ro know each other better... I want you to know I really do love you, Yami-kun..", she admitted.Of course, she wanted to get to know him more, even though she already confessed to him.

"I'm not attracted because of you're seductiveness, Yami.I know that I do feel something for you.It may have started.. maybe it will developed.. like it developed more just now.." she looked at him now, her face back to her original color, though having a slight tint on her face."I don't care if i'm a Vampire Hunter and you're a pureblood.. I really want us to work... ok?", she smiled as she nuzzled her face into his clothed chest. It really did feel nice beign in his arms.. she wasn't gonna deny that.

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

[First off... I have no idea how the hell I came up with this... so... yeah... I think I might have been too drunk off of sugar/soda when I was writing this.]

He swallowed again as she became more intimate with him, as if they had known each other for years and years. Well... they had... but just by face. Even so, he couldn't help but sigh in relief a little. "You know... I love you too. Last night when I kissed you... I hadn't been able to control myself. I'm not sure why, but I think I've liked you ever since we first met. I know it sounds weird and considering how old I am it could be seen as adultery in a sense, but I really do love you, at least that's how I feel anyway. And I've been thinking about it a little and I don't care if you're a Hunter or not, or that I'm a Pureblood and..." he trailed off here, his happiness fading.

He held her tightly then, as if she might disappear any moment. "... Hanashi... You must understand something though," he began, closing his eyes, calming himself down. He was sure that his worry and fear was spreading through her through their close contact with one another. His empathy powers always did manifest themselves when he was in physical contact with someone. "My family has hated humans for generations upon generations. This hatred is comparable to the Vampire Hunter Association's general attitude towards vampire. Hating humans... its what I have grown up with, what Aki and I both grew up with." He was beginning to hesitate now. He wasn't sure how Hanashi would take it.

Burying his face in her hair he smelled her for a long time. He could only begin to imagine how Aki must have been feeling when Sennyo had asked her to meet their parents... He thought he had understood her then, but in truth he hadn't. "Hanashi... Aki is like the way she is because she loved a human and our parents would not stand for it...." he said softly, quietly. "They... they did more than just torture and kill him Hanashi. And even after killing him... after breaking Aki's heart and soul they were not done... They tried to feed her his blood and flesh Hanashi. She nearly killed herself because of that, as if she wasn't already dead when they killed him... But... the point is I... I don't want you to go through that. I know you're a Vampire Hunter and have a better chance against my parents than he ever did, but... if you were to get close to my parents that would mean that you would be surrounded by their subordinates. You wouldn't have much of a chance, even if I was there and helping you. Tell me, would you still love me and be with me even knowing the truth?" he asked her, still holding onto her tightly.

Was this how Aki had felt? Or had it been worse for her? Sennyo hadn't even known that vampires existed... He had had better chances of winning the lottery than surviving against the Shitake Elders. But Hanashi as a Hunter, she had a better chance of lasting against them but even so those chances were slim. And with dread he wondered how Hanashi's own parents would take it. She had said her father was the Hunter, hadn't she? ... Great. Her father would be able to tell he was a damn vampire by just looking at him or smelling him or whatever it was that let Hunters know who were vampires and who weren't. Her mother was a lawyer, did she know vampires existed? If not he might seek some aid from her but... wouldn't she know about her husband's profession? Did Hunters even share their true professions to their spouses? Yamiyo wasn't too sure. He had never studied the Hunters extensively. But Hanashi had told him, hadn't she? ... Well he was a vampire so...

Without thinking much or giving her much time to reply, Yamiyo had kissed her again. Wanting to remember. To remember her taste and touch just in case.... just in case what? In case she left him? Just in case she was killed? In case she died? No. He had to have more faith in her. He would teach her himself if he had to, teach her all about a vampire's weak spot and how to best kill them. Tell her about the vampire's abilities--- Wait, wasn't he betraying his kind then? Letting a Hunter know this much??? Even if he loved her would she share her knowledge with others... would she wind up using him someday? Ahh why had he fallen in love with her?

Its how love works kid. Never know when its gonna happen. Never gonna know who its gonna happen with. Never gonna know how its gonna start or end. Love's a strange and ill thing. Makes you do and think things you'd never do before. 'Sides, think of it this way: when you have kids with her------- WE JUST STARTED DATING! Its not like we're going to do anything yet! Yet... There's ALWAYS a yet. And me knowing how love is... that YET could turn out to be a DID or HAD or WAS or IS. S-Shut up! Heh, like I can. I'm a part of ya kid. 'Sides, you're holdin an kissin that girl awfulllly hard aren't ya? I mean look around you... where are you, hmm? Plus, she's probably able to sense how you're feeling too. She's not stupid. She knows you have powers that can let you know what she's feeling. And I'm pretty sure she'll be able to put two and two together and realize that half the things she's feeling right now are coming from you. Oo I sooo wish I could take a picture right now. I could make millions off of this! If I sold this to the Day Class girls they'd have a riot! Oh and I could sell this to the guys too! I bet they'd all have an orgasm! Ahh, if only I weren't a part of your inner self. W-What?

Yamiyo was surprised to find that his eyes were closed. He was even more surprised that he and Hanashi had somehow ended up on her bed. And as he became of where his body was, he jerked away and got up from shock and surprise. Stumbling backwards he tripped over some of Hanashi's clothes that littered the floor from earlier when Haru had came inside and fell, colliding with the chair he had previously been sitting in. Shaking his head, trying to clear out his mind he focused on the floor instead, not wanting to look at Hanashi because he knew without a doubt that he would end up blushing even more than he already was and probably be rendered incapable of speech or thought. Big mistake. Various articles of clothing lay about on the floor and as his eyes were looking at the ground he saw most, if not all of it. The more he tried not to look, the more he seemed to find things. Everything from shirts to jeans to socks to bras...

"Ahhh s-so-sorry... I-I'll b-be ri-right ba-back..." he stuttered as he very ungracefully got up and tripped his way to the bathroom, shutting the door behind him. Once inside he shut the door, but didn't bother locking it, and turned on the sink, splashing cold water onto his face, and then switching it to boiling hot water. Pain. He just needed pain. Pain would clear up his mind. It'd hurt like hell and he'd probably get a beating from Hanashi for it, but he needed to clear his mind up considerably. After all he had been... been.... g-gr... He couldn't even think of the word or risk having images of Hanashi explode in his mind. At one point he even slammed his head against the wall muttering something along the line of "Stupid, dumbass, perverted, idiotic pureblood".

And despite all of this, the image of Hanashi in his mind was still very clear. How in the hell had they gotten to her bed anyway??? Weren't they just by her door? And, and how had he managed to slip off part of her shirt and bra??? God he wanted to go back in time and completely redo the last few minutes. It was minutes right? Wait, why hadn't she stopped him? Or had she? Had he been that oblivious to her pleas? Another slap against himself. Several bad images came into his head at that. "Ughhh why am I such an idiot?!" He looked up at himself in the mirror and couldn't help but stare. The freezing/boiling water hadn't done much to his face asides from plaster his hair to his skin, but..... his jacket and shirt was gone? ............

YESH! My Yamiyo is growing up! Way to go kiddo! You're almost there! Yamiyo really hated his conscience now. (Besides, aren't consciences supposed to... I don't know... tell you to do the right thing, not the wrong thing? Weird... Or maybe Yamiyo's just defective? Who knows. Or maybe for vampires their consciences are just evil like that? ..... He's defective.)

She blushed slightly when Yamiyo pulled her closer to him, holding her tightly. She stayed quite throughout him speaking, she didn't want to interrupt him.He seemed kinda... nervous? She didn't know, but it worried her a bit."... Hanashi... You must understand something though," that made her look at him, her eyes filled with curiosity and concern. It felt like he was fearing something, but what would a pureblood fear? She didn't know but she wished that he would hurry and spit it out already, she didn't like to be kept waiting at something serious.

Yamiyo buried his face in her hair, making Hanashi blink.Yamiyo... . "Hanashi... Aki is like the way she is because she loved a human and our parents would not stand for it...." No!She didn't want to hear it from him.Hanashi tried so hard to ignore his explanation but it only made her worry, worry about Aki.How could her own parents do that to her?Of course she would never understand how pureblood parents are like.Human and pureblood parents come from diffrent worlds.Hanashi was about to tell him what she thought but he kissed. She couldn't reply... but she didn't mind, it was maybe yo soothe his mind so she let him.She had her eyes closed as well, but then she found herself on her bed, making her eyes open suddenly.H-He wasn't gonna do that... was he?!, Hanashi thought as Yamiyo jerked away and stumbled on some of Hanashi's clothes-ahh damn it.Her clothes.Almost all her clothing was on the floor, making the hunter blush furiously.

"Ahhh s-so-sorry... I-I'll b-be ri-right ba-back..."he stuttered and dissapeared into the bathroom, shutting the door. Her eyes were glued to the door, her eyes a little wide but then reutrned back to their original size. What was going on with him?Besides the fact he seemed.. a little diffrent when he kissed, and in some way appeared on her bed, and that thought made her shake her head more, trying to get rid of any nasty images.Hanashi then felt some air hit her shoulder, making her shiver a little, she noticed part of her shirt and bra were slipped off.She quickly put them on back again. Then she got up from the bed and walked towards the door. She stayed there for what appeared to be a long time(which was really only four minutes)deciding if to go in to check on him or not.Ahh, I'll go in... her hand went to the doorknob, noticing it was slightly cold, turned it and opened the door.

Hanashi's eyes fell onto Yamiyo's bare back, she was certain he could see her through the mirror as she placed a hand on his back, running her fingers softly."Yamiyo.. so this is why Aki is the way she is?Because her parents.. so violently did that to the person she fell in love with, then tried feeding her his blood and flesh.. that's not right..." by now she wrapped her arms around him, burying her face in his back."I don't care.." she said softly, quietly."I don't care if I get close to you're parents, if their subordinates get even closer. We would find a way to finish them off, no?Besides..", she smiled agaisnt his back."I would never leave you, I love you, Yamiyo.. you idiot. You're special to me, no matter what happens i'll stick by your side, ok?" she then looked at the mirror, looking at his face with a soft smile, then it turned into a grin.

Anna was heading to the day dorm`s avoiding any human precence as much as possible, once she got to the door of Hanashi`s room she knew she was being followed by a few intriguing pair of eyes that had been following her ever since she stepped into the day dorm`s, one could ask what was she doing here? she was here to apologise for his family by the order of Aarón-sama himself for what happened in the park, but that was not the true intesions of his plan once his plan would kick in it would only be a matter of time before all hell would broke loose she knew it, something bad was about to happen soon she remebered what her master told her to do, all the specific details, it should not be too hard but honestly she was not so sure... she was very curious to meet this human, what did Aarón-sama see in her?

She knocked at the door, everything went silent around her she did not hear any sounds from inside, but she was being watched which troubled her greatly, she was about to knock again on the door when she was distracted by steps closing in on her position she glanced over her shoulder, she noticed 3 boys whom where kinda stalking her ... c-can i help you somehow? the guy in the middle gave a slight grin sure, how about you follow us somewhere private?! Her worst fears where starting to become real, she did not like humans for this particular reason, but she really was not a human hater either, she blushed and her face became fearful, she did not want to fight this not here, hell she was not much of a fighter anyway, she leaned slightly against the door as if hoping for someone to let her in now n-no i don`t want to on of the guys grabbed her arm come on it will be fun...

Re: Oblivious, Gentleman, and Conscience

Post by Aki on Thu Feb 18, 2010 11:29 pm

He had froze when Hanashi walked in, but relaxed a little as she laid a gentle hand on him. He wanted to tell her to stop doing this... to stop showing such affection to him simply because he wasn't sure if he could control himself or not, but he knew he couldn't tell her in a way that wouldn't offend her so for the time being he allowed her to touch him and so forth. As she spoke he soon found himself tracing lines on her hands and arms. Her breath was warm and full life and sent small shivers down his back. Yamiyo smiled himself as he felt her smile along his back and sensed her emotions within. Her eyes caught his as she smiled at him through the mirror.

"I love you, Hanashi" was what he had wanted to say, but no... someone had appeared outside of Hanashi's room and he could sense traces of vampires around her. He heard a faint knocking on the door, and was sure that if he wanted to, he could ignore it because it was much too faint for a normal human to hear. And he was going to ignore it, but why had guys came over to the girl's side of the dormitories? Great... The mind he could sense was feminine in nature and it seemed she was in some kind of trouble at the moment. Yamiyo mentally sighed, cursing their luck. Then again, if it hadn't been for Haru his self titled number one fan, he might never have had this chance with Hanashi. Odd how his "number one fan" had actually helped him when she wanted to be in Hanashi's shoes right now... He almost laughed at this. "There's someone at the door..." started Yamiyo, annoyance clear in his voice, but with an underlying hint of worry.

"I'm not sure who it is, but its someone who had the scent of vampires about them..." He had wanted to say "Be careful" but he knew better than to say that when she had so fiercely told him that they'd fight back if that day ever came... Instead he said, "You want to check it out or should I? Most of the students should be in class right now, it shouldn't be too much trouble if I show myself." In a sense he was saying "be careful" but wasn't being entirely blunt about it. Ahh... why am I so worried? She can handle herself, she's a Hunter after all! chided Yamiyo.

Before she could really answer him he also added on, "So... exactly how long can I stay here? It has been awhile hasn't it?" His golden eyes were glittering playfully and you could almost say the pureblood was chuckling. How strange it was that Hanashi affected him so. He who had never truly taken interest in other women save for his sister had become so attached her. He who had rarely showed his true emotions around any being other than his sister was now laughing and smiling with Hanashi. He who had been raised as a royal and taught to never think of humans as his equal had fallen for such a human and the worse kind of humans. It was strange, much too strange. Perhaps she herself held some power even she did not know of, or perhaps she really was just that intriguing to the creatures she was committed to destroying.

To others who might not know a thing about either of the two lovers they may have saw them as star-crossed lovers doomed for a cruel fate because of their different backgrounds, upbringing, and social class, but the two were determined to make their love work it seemed. And not everything in life is doomed for a bloody end. Those on the vampire side may have said that Yamiyo had merely charmed Hanashi, but if any had the power to look into his heart and soul they would find that he would never want to do such a thing and even if he had the power to do so he would not relish in the idea of being loved by one that did not truly care for him.

And as Yamiyo looked on at Hanashi, he thought of how Aki had managed to fall in love with a young man of twenty some years and to stay with him as he entered his late thirties and early forties while she herself still only looked about sixteen or so and was considered as such in the human world. Would he be able to do so with her if they ever lasted that long? Would he be so weak as to leave her when she began to age and show signs of death? Or would he stay with her throughout whether she aged or not and let her die in peace? ... Or would he change her to have her by his side forever more? Now he could begin to see why it was that vampires detested humans, loathed them, and in some cases.... were jealous of them. Humans didn't have to worry about picking a partner to last for all of eternity. Humans didn't have to worry about centuries ahead of them. Humans got to die and rest one day... Vampires couldn't do any of that. Marriages were often arranged, few were of true love and care. They lived for centuries and had to plan out things not just steps ahead, but entire decades, centuries, millenniums ahead. And what was worse was that none of them could really die a natural death. Their deaths normally had to be imposed...

He thought to ask her of this "small" dilemma but supposed now wasn't exactly the time to ask her, not when they had a... guest and not after they had just confessed after hours of meeting one another. Then... when was the right time to talk about this? That depends on what you want to happen.... If you want her to just agree with anything you say, give her some---- I am not going to drug her or anything along those lines! I want to know her answer from within her heart... If she doesn't want to, then I won't force it on her. I'll just.... I'll just wait and fall in love with someone else after she dies... And if no one ever stops your heart like this again? ... ... ... I guess I'll be like Aki then... Only not as as sad... .... Pathetic.... What?! I'd die with her if I could... but I can't leave Aki alone! I know you're the big bro an all, but come on... Haven't you cared bout your sis long enough? Time she grew up, eh? Start thinkin bout your own damn life for once kid. You ain't gonna be a kid for much longer anyway, not at this rate. Stop thinkin bout what'll happen to your sis or what'll happen if you do this or that, just think bout what you really want. This is your life isn't it?
