An unexpected meeting...(open but mainly Aki)

Hikaru and Kaoru sighed in unison.The class was very boring in general and both of them were zoning in and out.Both of there golden eyes scanned the room.To the vampires in the room, they were considered quite young but, they didn't care.They only cared about getting out of this class as soon as possible.Maybe, just maybe today will be the day...

"I wonder what.." Hikaru started "Hanashi is up to.." Kaoru finished.They always did this.Always finishing each other's sentences.It wasn't as they were trying to be psychics.They were always like this, ever since they were children.Both of them blinked as the vampire students started getting up and going out.Quickly, both of them got their stuff and left quickly.

When they reached outside, the moon was high in the sky, illuminating Cross academy and everything.The closed their eyes and enjoyed the moon's light.It was something that they would always do after class."Let's go, Kaoru" Hikaru said and started walking towards the Sun dorms.Kaoru quickly ran towards his twin brother, catching up with him."Why are we going towards the Sun dorms, Hikaru?" his younger brother by a few minutes asked.He somehow knew the answer but decided to let his brother answer."Were gonna visit Hanashi, my dear brother" Kaoru stopped walking, which made Hikaru stop walking as well and looked at his twin brother.

"Kaoru?"

"Hikaru... I don't think Hanashi likes us anymore.."

That was a surprise.Hikaru blinked a couple of times before walking back to his younger brother and putting a hand on his shoulder.Kaoru looked at his brother's eyes.Gold meeting gold."Kaoru, you and I have known Hanashi since we were ten.She isn't the one to ignore her friends..", though, he didn't know himself why didn't Hanashi tried seeing them.Was it because she was a Vampire Hunter?Was it because she couldn't be friends with vampires anymore?So many questions were surrounding Hikaru's mind at the moment.

Meanwhile Hanashi decided to go out tonight, seeing as it was a full moon, and she loved full moons.She somehow managed to get out of the Sun dorm.Her blue eyes stared at the night sky.The stars complimented the moon, making it even more beautiful tonight.Hanashi got out of her uniform and was wearing a dark blue tank top with black pants and black boots.

"Now" she started, her eyes looking left and right "Where to...", outside Hanashi seemed to be calm but inside she was sort of sad.She couldn't see Hikaru and Kaoru."I wonder if they think I'm a bad friend..?"

"We don't think you are, Hanashi", two voices said in perfect unison.Before she could turn around two arms wrapped around her waist and one head was laying on her shoulder while the other head was laying at the other.She could recognize their voices."Hikaru?Kaoru?"

Both of them had a grin on their faces as they nuzzled her neck "We missed you very, very much" they held her for what it seemed the longest time.They seemed to have their guard down but they had their senses on high alert.

I need some fresh air. Having all of these vampires staring at me and waiting on me hand and foot... Checking in on Aki briefly he soon left the dormitory. He deeply breathed in the night air. Walking along he soon recognized a faint mind. Ahh who is that? Human... Female... Ahh I know I met her before, but who is she?

Intrigued, he strode over to the area. For a few minutes he was stuck wondering who it was. But he soon remembered her. Hanashi... A smile on his lips, he strode over to Hanashi and the twins. And the Zouka Twins...

At first he watched from the shadows. Like his sister, he too had powers involving shadows, but only very minor ones compared to hers. He was more attuned to blood and mental attacks. Hmm... friends? ... Yes, I think so. Though when did the Zouka ever meet her? He continued watching for a brief amount of time and then gracefully approached them in a manner obviously not from this century or another. He came from an older generation of vampires.

Like he did with all women, no matter their race or social ranking, he bowed to her and addressed her first. But unlike he usually did, he bowed quite low to her and as usual reached out for her hand, but this time in a much more gentle manner. He didn't mind the two... glomping nobles at all. He kissed her fingertips lightly. "Hanashi, it has been some time since we last met," he murmured, as he let go of her hand and rose up to his proper height. "I wonder, do you still remember me?" he asked softly in his velvety voice. He was aware of his natural seductiveness, but he never truly took advantage of it. Not even now.

He nodded politely to Hikaru and Kaoru before returning his golden eyes on Hanashi. In his age old eyes there seemed to be glimmers of warmth, friendship, care, love, understanding, and so much more, but none seemed to last long. It was as if he couldn't decide on how to feel.

Hikaru and Kaoru looked at the new person that dared to appeared before them.'Yamiyo' they thought bitterly as he bowed towards Hanashi then, took her hand and kissing her fingertips.Hanashi was still a little shocked with the twin's arms around her waist.Quickly, she turned her head away but from the corner of her eye she stared at him.Her eyes slowly widened as it finally registered in her mind who he was."Yamiyo..." she turned her head back, and looked at his eyes.She nodded, acknloedging him.She was feeling slightly shy.

The twins, noticing Hanashi's strange yet usual behaviour decided to speak."It's nice to see you-" "Yamiyo", their eyes stared at Yamiyo.Clearly they weren't expecting the pureblood Shitaki male to appear while they were with Hanashi.It annoyed them but nonetheless shrugged that emotion off.Then, something dawned on them.Hanashi knew his name, meaning....

"This is the same Yamiyo that you've met six years ago??" they asked boredly as they pulled the young female towards them.Hanashi shook her head as she let out a sigh.She was wondering how dumb could they be, I don't wanna know..', "Yes, Hikaru, and Kaoru.This is the same guy..", by now, she was use to them being clingy.They would do this when they haven't seen each other for awhile, and wouldn't stop for god know's when but, she really didn't watch this much contact with them, not that she minded.Please let me go?" she asked them politely and they obeyed her and released her.

Hikaru had his eyes on Yamiyo the whole time.His face held a serious look."Not to be rude or anything, Yamiyo-sama.." Kaoru and Hanashi were now looking at Hikaru.Kaoru held a confused look while Hanashi remained her usual quiet self."Why did you come here?Is it because you sensed Hanashi?", his eyes stared into Yamiyo's.His own eyes clearly showed he was a little uncomfortable with him around her.In fact, it made him jealous.Both of the twins held feelings for the human girl, but they kept it to themselves, keeping everyone at bay besides her and themselves.Kaoru wondered about that as well.Why did Yamiyo come here?Maybe he thought they were taking her blood?,'That's ridiculous.Yamiyo surely knows me and Hikaru don't treat humans as food...'

"Hikaru..." Kaoru murmured, his tone held a slight emotion.He was worried.He didn't want a fight to break out.Kaoru was about to go towards Hikaru but Hanashi beat him to it.She turned her head towards him and placed a hand on his right shoulder.Hikaru looked at her, she looked at him.Her lips moved slowly saying "Hikaru... Calm down..", after that, he did, but only slightly.She turned back to Yamiyo.

"If you're here, that means... Aki is here too...", the twins said nothing.They know knew personally the people that changed Hanashi slightly.They stood beside her, like bodyguards.The Zouka Twins didn't like being with a pureblood for a long time, but they couldn't leave Hanashi with him, and besides, they missed her.Hanashi eyed Yamiyo.He hasn't changed in these few years.'He still looks the same, in a way..'

With mild humor Yamiyo half analyzed the twin's distaste for him. He could feel it so strongly... so, so strongly. He briefly considered the option that perhaps they were jealous of him? But then that would lead to why? Did they think he and Hanashi had had some kind of... connection? They did remember that Hanashi would have been nothing more than a child when they met, right? Then again, the Zouka twins weren't exactly the most insightful vampires around. But he was intrigued by this odd... love-friendship they had.

He didn't bother to react to Hikaru's statements, actions, and emotions. He calmly and patiently waited for them to play it out. "Can't I go out for a walk and to visit people I know and care about?" he replied to Hikaru. "Just a reminder, but I am a Pureblood. You are a Noble. You are still subject-able to my will," he warned the twins. Though he might have disliked using the Pureblood's abilities to control the lesser vampires... he didn't mind using it when needed.

He nodded to Hanashi. "Yes, Aki is--"

"I'm right here..." said Aki quietly, stepping out of a patch of shadows. Shadow Travel... "Hello, Hanashi, Hikaru, Kaoru," murmured Aki softly, smiling a little. If one knew her they would know it was a fake smile, one that had no meaning to it other than to show politeness, respect. She gently pulled Yamiyo aside and spoke to him in an even quieter voice.

"I... I keep dreaming. Ever since that night I've been remembering... Remembering so clearly... Yami... I'm scared. Can you please stay with me tonight? Or... can I come and stay with you? Please... Every night I wake up and I... I..." she trailed off and shook her head.

Yamiyo wrapped a comforting, loving arm around her and pulled her in for a tight hug. "You can come stay with me, or I can come stay with you. As long as you want. I know it hurts and it always will... but Aki, you're becoming stronger. Trust me. I can sense it. But what Sinota offered you..."

"No... I-I won't accept it. Ever. My memories... they're as important as... As... If they were taken then... then I would be..." sniffled Aki, burying her face into his chest. Yamiyo merely held her tighter and rubbed her back, conscious that she was scantily clad in front of two male vampires.

"I'll always be here," he murmured. "Always." He slowly pulled away from her and fixed her long silvery hair, wiping away the last of the tears on her face. "You'll always have me no matter how old we get or what happens to me. Always, Aki," he promised, his hands still caressing her face.

I wonder if the Twins know Aki is my sister........ thought Yamiyo as he cast a small glance back at the du--trio.

'Tch...' Hikaru turned his head away.Yamiyo got him there.Both of the Zouka twins thought at what he said."Can't I go out for a walk and to visit people I know and care about?", both of the twins turned their heads towards a woman that appeared.They noticed her smile.A smile that the Zouka twins found somewhat... Cold.Not that they cared.They both bowed, out of respect."Forgive us, Yamiyo..." , both of them got up to their proper height while staring at Aki "... And Aki", meanwhile, Hanashi looked at Aki.Her eyes slightly widened, then a smile appeared on her lips, "I could never forget that face.." she murmured, her eyes were staring at the floor while her bangs covered her eyes, giving her a mysterious look.

The trio looked at Yamiyo hugging Aki.The three tilted their head to the same side, watching the scene before them.The twins did know that Yamiyo and Aki were siblings, after all they do take the same classes.Hanashi already knew they were siblings.She had met them before Hikaru and Kaoru did, after all.

Hanashi didn't want to interrupt a 'sibling' moment.The twins always had moments like that around her, and it annoyed her, but them, it didn't.

The twins looked at each other, then at Aki and Yamiyo, and finally at Hanashi.They knew something was up, they just didn't know what.Hanashi turned her head upward, making her blue eyes show as she looked at the siblings in a warming embrace.It made her feel... Warm.Something she hadn't felt.'I wonder what is like.. To have a sibling..', she looked at her hand, the moon making her skin seem slightly paler.She closed her hand, then opened it, as if she found the most interesting thing in the world.

Hikaru and Kaoru knew what Hanashi was doing.She always did this.She had always wanted to know what it felt like having a sibling; that was one of her secrets she had inside of herself, and she only told them and no one else.They felt bad for her at first, saying "We could be your siblings!" , but she quickly said "I don't need you to treat me as a sibling, I want you to treat me as a.... F-Friend...", it was the first time she had accepted them as friends.Hikaru and Kaoru placed a hand on each of her shoulder, making her look up from her hand.The whispered in her ears softly.

"You know", Hikaru started "The offer is still up...", "If you want it, of course" they finished once again in unison.They golden eyes showing the emotions they felt at the moment.

A small smile appeared on her lips and she whispered back "Like I told you, I don't need one, I'm perfectly fine... Really", she moved there hands from her shoulders, obviously not liking when they pitied her."Sorry to intrude, Yamiyo-san, Aki-san", she bowed then got back up to her proper height."But... Is anything wrong?" she asked, tilting her head to the side.The twins blinked and then wrapped their arms around her, saying "You're so cute!", Hanashi, obviously annoyed started squirming "I thought you guys could control that!", but she was wrong, as most of the time...

Longing... I sense longing. Why? He glanced at Hanashi. Why was it that she seemed so full of sadness? He had wanted to get to know her more when he had first met her but... time and ranking wouldn't allow it. And back then he had to think of Aki. Back then Aki had been very close to just disappearing... Now she was beginning to stabilize.

Like I told you, I don't need one, I'm perfectly fine... Really. He wondered at this. What were the twins offering and why was she refusing? He wished he knew more about her. All he had really learned was her name and face back then... but that was little use now. The name was useful, maybe. But the face? Humans changed from child to adolescence.

Yamiyo moved to stop her from bowing, but by the time he had released Aki and was taking a step towards Hanashi, she had already completed the movement. He finished his movement towards her and took her hands. "You needn't bow to me... to us at all," he said softly and sincerely before answering her question.

"I'm afraid none of us can truly help her heal. Only time and self forgiveness," he explained softly, careful to choose his words in the right way so as not to upset Aki even more than she already was. He gazed at the twins intently for a few brief seconds. They might have known about Aki's unfortunate event. Most of the purebloods knew about it, and handfuls of nobles. And all human haters knew about it. He hoped they wouldn't be stupid enough to mention the event right now... let alone the man's name.

Aki had taken to playing with the shadows about them to preoccupy her mind. She wanted very much to talk to Yamiyo alone... but she could wait. She could sense that he might get slightly mad or irritated with her if she were to ask him to come with her now. On the other hand, the twins would seem happy if Yamiyo left them alone. And Hanashi... she wasn't sure. A part of her said yes Hanashi would want them gone. Another part said no, she wanted them. A part of her said that she wanted to talk to her. A part of her said she wanted to talk to Yamiyo. She didn't know. She was too unstable at the moment to think clearly or make use of her innate cursed gift.

After a few minutes, he thought to ask Hanashi about what was on her mind. Knowing the twins wouldn't much like this... he moved closer to her, still holding her hands. He wasn't intentionally trying to make them get angry at him, nor was he aiming to use his natural charm and attraction on Hanashi either. "I don't know if I should be asking you this... but something seems to be troubling you. Is there any way at all that I could help?" he whispered, concern etched into his voice. "Forgive me for asking, but I could not help but overhear the three of you." And sense your emotions, he thought silently.

As he holded her hand's, Hanashi's eyes widened.The twins quickly sensed her tensing up and were ready for her to say antyhing, anything to take her away from Yamiyo."I.... I", the words wouldn't come out.Her hands shook in his hands."...I....I...." she tried again to talk, but was uncesssessful.Kaoru wanted to butt in, hold Hanashi close, but he couldn't.The man that had her hads at the moment was a pureblood, someone that they should serve.Hikaru also wanted to butt in, but decided not to.

The twins stared at Aki, knowing that it was their time to be quiet and not say a word.They knew what was happening to her, and deep down inside their noble hearts, they wanted to help but, none of them can help.

Hanashi stared at Yamiyo, her eyes still slightly wide."Of course.." she mumbled, she closed her eyes "Of course... You heard us... I... Keep forgetting you vampires can hear well...", she was trying, trying so hard to hide the sadness that threatened to come out.She didn't want that, not again.The twins got her out of that hell hole along with Aki and Yamiyo.She didn't need to go there again."N-Not again..." she cried out softly, she took her hands back and looked away from Yamiyo, tears threatened to come out "No one can help, ok?This isn't anything new...", maybe she shouldn't have said that.

The Zouka twins looked at the scene before them.'Not again...' they thought sadly as they looked at the soon to be crying Hanashi.It was partly their fault that she was like this now.They should have never asked if she wanted them as a sibling, she was very sensitive in that area and always wanted one.It might have seem childish to some people, but that's how she felt.Also the fact that she hated to be alone.It scared her.They thought of how many sleepless nights she had since them being seperated.They somehow knew she hasn't made any friends in the Day class.She was always keeping to herself, not really caring about others;a loner in a way.But deep inside, she was scared, oh so very scared of being alone after she made her first two real friends.Hikaru and Kaoru made a promise to be with her, even if it gets them in trouble.They didn't care, they cared for her.

A few tears escaped her eyes.They closed their eyes, not being able to look at her when she was like this.They both thought the same thing:'Let all your feelings out..', it's better this way, instead of keeping them bottled up.

And, as if she heard them thinking, she started crying, her hands clutching shoulders tightly as she kept crying.It might have seemed harsh that the twins weren't coming to her aide, but that's how she would want it.She'll let them be near her when she feels it's the right time.

Meanwhile Hanashi had her eyes closed tightly, she was biting her lower lip as the tears kept on coming.She couldn't even answer Yamiyo, she was too... Sad.Lonliness, sadness, but just a minute ago she was neutral, feeling no happiness nor sadness, just.. Calm, so why?Why did this have to happen?And right in front of vampires, Purebloods nonetheless.When she calmed down she was able to talk, but a few tears still kept rolling down her cheeks,"I-I'm s-sorry... I should have better control of my emotions.." she murmured, her eyes looking at the ground, afraid to even look at anyone at the moment.

He had hit some nerve... He wanted to wrap his arms around her and comfort her the way he normally did to Aki, but if the twins weren't doing anything like that, and he knew they wanted to, then it would be best if he didn't either. Instead he closed his eyes and let her emotions wash through him, trying not to fully take it in, to let it be passive the way he did with the world. When she started openly crying he opened his eyes, wanting to comfort her... but again he knew better. And despite trying not to, he couldn't help but absorb her pain. It didn't feed him or anything, but it called to him. When the ones he cared about were in pain he tended to absorb their emotions and think of ways to help them.

Surprisingly it was Aki who did something. "Sometimes control isn't what's needed..." she said softly, probably knowing better than anyone how Hanashi felt, despite not knowing what was really upsetting her. She walked closer to Hanashi. "I don't know what happened to you... but I can tell that something is bothering you a lot..." She stopped briefly and swallowed. "You feel... empty, right? Empty... Lonely... Sometimes you hate the world for doing what it did to you... Sometimes you hate yourself for the way you feel... But most of all... you're afraid, right?" she asked, those very words describing herself.

"It feels like no one can help, that nothing can be done, but... things can be done and people can help. For me its hard to see... because I've lived in it for so long and I'm guilty... But for you. You haven't lost everything yet... You haven't completely given up..." she hesitantly rose a hand and wiped the tears away. "And I... I owe you... a... a thank you... for two reasons. I'm sorry but I can't tell you why. But you've helped me in more ways than you could ever know..." Her vision was beginning to drastically become blurry.

Her hand fell as she felt her own tears coming out. Now she was staring at the ground. "I'm sorry... but if you would, please let my brother help you. He..." she paused, "I'm sorry... Ask the twins about me if you want to know..." she mumbled before disappearing into her own shadow. As she entered the shadow realm she openly cried and let out all the pain from that week. I miss you so much... I love you so much Sennyo, even now I still love you. I don't think I'll ever heal. I need you to heal, not time. And she let herself roam the Shadow Realm, knowing that even if she spent what seemed like hours and hours here, it would really only be a few seconds or minutes in the real world. And it was only here that she could escape her brother's innate gift.

Aki... He knew it had taken her a considerable amount of courage to tell Hanashi that, even more to let a human know of her... past. Not sure if she would want him, he slowly came to stand in front of her. "Forgive my sister leaving like so... but her past is bloody and guilt ridden. But she is right in a sense. Control isn't everything. Control doesn't necessarily mean that you are in control. And if you're using that to try to show others that you aren't hurt or sad you only hurt them more because they... we know that you're in pain."

Her eyes were staring at the ground, but they were opened wide."A-Aki" she whispered, she never knew that Aki was the one that felt everything she felt at that moment.In a way, both of them were alike yet diffrent.But, she wanted to know what was making her feel the same way Hanashi felt.

"Hana...", Hikaru called her by the nickname they gave when she was little as his hand was getting closer to touching her shoulder but stopped when she spoked."I don't wanna know.I don't wanna know from you, Kaoru nor Yamiyo.I want to hear it from her what happened"

"But, what if she won't tell you?", Kaoru asked her, sensing that she was finally calming down' "Then I don't need to know, even if she did told me that you guys knew.And if she never wants to tell me it's fine.It's like I told you two when we were young 'Whenever you feel ready to tell something, tell me.I won't pressure you to tell me", the twins stood there, letting her words sink in."Even as a child-" "You were always mature"

She wiped her last remaining tears away, letting a small yet visible smile be on her face."Though...", the twins blinked, wondering what her next words were gonna be, "Never thought I would hear Aki say 'thank you' to me.It felt...nice", then she looked at Yamiyo, "It's fine if she left so...suddenly", she bowed to him again "Aki said I should let you help me.I think I'll do just that"

"Wait a minute!", the twins yelled, putting their hands on Hanashi's shoulders, "You're really gonna-" "Let Yamiyo help you with-" "Your social skills?" they finished jokingly, making Hanashi angry a little."You are idiots..." she sighed."If your angry and/or annoyed at us means...You're back to normal!"

The twins smiled at each other, knowing that's her way of saying 'thanks'.Hanashi's eyes went straight back to Yamiyo's eyes."In a way I'm in pain, always in pain.Without the twins at my side, I feel...scared, lonely.They were the only friends I had...I hated it when tgey seperated us....I was afraid to let anyone close to me, so I kept them at bay with my cold, quiet side.The only ones I would let in are the twins"

"Admit it-" "You missed us", they said proudly."Yeah, I guess I did...", both of them smiled at her.They didn't expect her to say those words, but in a way, they were happy she said that.It made them feel warm, and loved.

Then, Hanashi did something that was completly out of her character.She hugged Yamiyo."I feel better just by telling you this, Yamiyo... Thank you", she looked at him as her arms were wrapped around his waist.

A small smile crept onto this face. I'll be sure to mention that to her Hanashi, she'll like it... He laughed lightly within his mind as the twins objected, but he could sense that there was no real harm done. It seemed to be normal for them. I wonder... If she gets annoyed with me if that means anything... He stayed quiet as they shared a small moment.

"I feel better just by telling you this, Yamiyo... Thank you," said Hanashi, looking at him and wrapping her arms about his waist. He could feel himself getting hot in the face, but it wouldn't show. Swallowing slightly, he returned the hug, conscious of how different her body felt to Aki's... Damn it. Keep it together. Not like you haven't been hugged before! he thought, whether he was chiding himself or trying to calm himself down he wasn't sure.

"Your welcome..." he said coolly, not letting himself show that he was phased about her embrace. Not truly thinking about how his next action might invoke, he leaned down slightly to cover the gap between them and planted a soft, light, kiss to her forehead. Only after he had kissed her did he think.

Ahh what the hell was I thinking? You liiike her. ... That can't be true at all. I might feel attached, but I DO NOT LOVE HER!! Riiiight, and the sun kills us. Yamiyo mentally sighed. He had never really taken an interest in women before, so why now? Because you lo-- Ahh just shut up will you?! he snapped back. His conscious, inner self, or whatever it was, clearly didn't like him or wasn't very good at comforting him.

The twins were watching the little 'moment' that was unfolding in front of them.They both raised their eyebrows as they sensed a few confusing emotions coming from Yamiyo.Smirks formed on their faces as they saw what appeared to be a little red on his face.Sure, they felt a little jealous, but seeing him react this way by Hanashi just hugging him was..priceless.

Hanashi on the other hand felt her cheeks get hot all of a sudden as he placed a light kiss on her forehead.She turned away, her eyes looking at everything that wasn't Yamiyo..nor the twins for that matter.'Jackpot', the twins thought, amused by both Hanashi and Yamiyo's reactions.Meanwhile, Hanashi's shy side was starting to come out as she unwrapped her arms around his waist and mentally enjoying his embrace.But, everything has to come to an end "U-Um...", she was still looking the other way, not being able to make eye contact with him, "C-Could you please let go of me?", she quietly asked him, not wanting the twins to hear her stuttering voice.'What is it that i'm feeling?I don't usually get shy around him, so why now?', her heart started beating faster after he kissed her forehead, it was a strange feeling.

The Zouka twins stood still, their eyes looking at them, feeling Hanashi getting shy.A quiet chuckle escaped Hikaru's lips.Kaoru looked at his older twin brother with a puzzled look, Hikaru smiled at him, "It's nothing...", both of them had their hands inside their pockets as they turned their heads back to the very confusing Pureblood and young human girl.

Yamiyo gracefully let go of her, murming an apology. "Forgive me... I was not thinking clearly." He was still a tad bit too shocked to properly anaylze the twins and Hanashi's feelings.

"I'm sorry, really, I am. I'm an idiot for doing so. Forget about forgiveness. I don't deserve that. I shouldn't even be talking to you or looking at you anymore. I barely know you. To... kiss you was uncalled for and completely wrong," he said quietly, knowing that despite this, the twins would still hear him. Cursed vampire senses... And yet the thought of kissing Hanashi directly on the mouth had appealed to him.

He actually got on his knees and bowed down quite, quite low to her. His eyes were fixed on the ground as he once again murmured an apology and awaited her possible wrath and punishment. He wasn't trying to flatter her or anything. He truly was sorry and this was the ultimate feat of apology: to show fealty to someone.

It was rare that he ever did so, even rarer yet to a human, even more rare to a female. He had only ever done this once or twice in his lifetime. Once when he had hurt Aki by trying to convince her to break up with Sennyo (before they had become extremely close and attached). And a second time when he had broken his father's most prized possession. A third time when he had upset his mother with the thought of Aki running away, leaving the family, and loving humans (even if that did come true later on which lead to some people believing he was psyhic). And then maybe two or three times to some other pureblood or noble when he had done a great wrong by accident.

I deserve whatever punishment she inflicts on me... no matter how much it'll hurt me. Physically, mentally, or emotionally. And with a slight shudder he remembered she was a Vampire Hunter... She could very easily know where to injure him to cause the most pain without actually killing him.

And the twins... The twins would love this. He only hoped they wouldn't talk to Aki about it. Sure she was depressed and suicidal, but she wouldn't give up an opportunity like this! And he couldn't use his powers on them either. Aki would be smart enough to tell they were acting strange and demand that they tell her what was going on.

Damn it. If only they weren't here... Oo scared of a little blackmail? Shut up already! I got enough problems on my hands. Speaking of which... where were your hands a few minutes ago? Last I recalled you were thinking about the young la--- You aren't a very good conscience, you know! snapped Yamiyo. He didn't mind the twins seeing him like this, in fealty to Hanashi, but for them to be able to blackmail him with it..... That was a completely different story. And he couldn't exactly hurt them either. They were Hanashi's friends, weren't they? So he just silently prayed that the Twins wouldn't do anything drastic or tell Aki, or even hint it to Aki.

Her head was still looking the other way.Her thoughts were all confused.Why?Why did he have to say he was sorry?He didn't do anything bad.. It's just Hanashi is not use to someone who she had seen once and now twice kissing her forehead.Just the thought about it made her cheeks feel warm.Hanashi turned her head back when Yamiyo saying he was sorry, that he didn't deserve forgiveness.She blinked, after hearing everything he said, he actually got on his knees and bowed quite low to her.Hanashi, obviously not liking this, began to wave her hands in front of her."T-There's no reason for you to ever bow to me, Yamiyo.It's fine, really!", meanwhile, the twins looked at the pureblood, obviously shocked by his actions at the moment.But, they understood him.In their own, weird twin mind anyway.Sometimes they did what Yamiyo was doing to Hanashi now.They wanted her forgiveness, hell, they wanted punishment, badly which led Hanashi to belived they were masochists, but they weren't.

The twins actually started caring for that pureblood, Yamiyo.. then again, they could always go to Aki to tell them about this 'little' moment and have their fun.Ahh, blackmail.Something the twins absolutely loved to do when they can.They could tell Aki about this anytime they saw her, and they knew Yamiyo knew that.But, they wouldn't do anything yet.Oh no.They would make sure Yamiyo suffers for their entertainment.A smirks form on their identical faces as they looked at them.

Hanashi's eyes soften as she looked at Yamiyo.It felt as if he was waiting for some kind of punishment, or wrath.If he was, he might've forgot that she wasn't the one to fight or punish needed to and she didn't feel that he deserved a punishment.Her hands were at her sides then slowly going towards Yamiyo's head;his hair more precisely as she knelt down.Her hands moving slowly in his hair, trying to comforting him in a way."Do you feel that you deserve some kind of punishment?I certaintly don't think so.."

"You obviously know i'm a Vampire Hunter, correct?And yet, you ask me to do such a thing...", her eyes kept looking at him.Then a warm smile spread across her face, "Even if one day you become my enemy, I couldn't kill you, or better yet I couldn't", it was wrong.Being friends with a vampire while she herself was an Apprenticed Vampire Hunter.Yet, she didn't care, she chose to not care and it made her feel happy, because if she did decide to care, she wouldn't be talking to him, nor the twins.So, she was glad she made the right choice in her opinion."Please.. just get up, don't bow to me.I don't deserve it, never did and never will", she let her hands run through his hair, going to each side of his face, making him looked at her.She let one of her hands brush a few strands of his hair as she looked straight at his eyes.Hanashi appeared to be calm on the outside but inside her heart was was beating very fast.It felt... weird touching him.

The twins rolled their eyes.In some weird way, they knew why she would dislike the bowing Yamiyo did, she disliked that greatly.Hanashi was a simple young woman.They knew she didnt' understand their ways.She also didn't try to learn."Hey, Hikaru?", Kaoru whispered slightly towards his older twin brother, making the older one look at him a calm look.Before Kaoru could utter a word, Hikaru spoke "It's better ti not say anything while Yamiyo is in hearin range, Kaoru", the said younger sibling was slightly irritated with Hikaru's reply.He nodded, he was right but Yamiyo couldn't do a thing to them they are Hanashi's friends, so why be quiet?Hikaru was sure acting weird, at least in Kaoru's mind.

Rising up slightly, he took her hand again. "As you wish, but in return you must never bow to me either. Never," he said softly, sincerely. As much as bows meant... he didn't need or want them from her.

He was touched that she would never kill him... at least for now. But he knew that it could one day change if something were to happen to him. "And," he said as he helped her rise again, "You do deserve it. One so talented, so beautiful, and so insightful such as you deserves the respect of any pureblood. More so when you have touched my sister's very soul, for I know of only one other human who was capable of that. I only hope that his fate will not be the same as yours... however I am sure your friends, Aki, and I would never allow you to be injured or hurt in any way," he promised.

He vaguely heard the twins, but decided not to question them about it quite yet... Sometimes knowing what others were planning was worse than not knowing. They were planning something, he just knew it. Their emotions... either they were planning to blackmail him into doing things for him or... humilating him in some fashion. But as long as they never sent word to his parents...

Yamiyo disguised a near jerk away from Hanashi just in time and elegantly turned to the twins. "Just on a side note... In case you two have forgotten certain past events, I would like to remind you not to send any word of this to my parents..." He prayed Hanashi wouldn't ask about it.

The smile never left her face as she said, "Very well, it's a deal" she said quietly.She was starting to feel the same way she felt six years ago.It was a... wonderful feeling.She always thought those feelings would come around the twins only, since they were always with her literally 24/7, but now Yamiyo has made her feel happier.

Hanashi touched Aki's soul.Since when?She never thought she would actually touch someone's soul(not speaking literally, of course).Someone like Aki, she looks like she's gone through a lot.And, what 'other human' has touched Aki's soul before?Sure she was curious, but she wasn't gonna ask who was the one that made Aki happy in the past.

The twins blinked as Yamiyo was now in front of them."We are not dumb, my good sir" Hikaru started, "We can be dumb sometimes, but we would never say anything like that to you're parents.Even though we may not look it-" "We can be trustworthy,so-" "Don't worry about it", they finished together, both of them eyeing Hanashi as she looked at the three of them with an unemotionless face.

"You wanna know about what we meant by that?", the twins asked,looking at Hanashi as she walked towards them."No", she simply said "I don't need to know, right?So it's ok", the twins pouted, obviously not expecting that answer."Anyway, where is Aki now, Yamiyo?It's best not to leave her alone for so long, right?", she will admit, she was a tad worried about that pureblood, even though she tried very hard to not show it.

Starting to calm down and think, he was more aware of their emotions now. "Of course, forgive me. Its just that sometimes you two can be a little insightful. But thank you," he amended. Frankly their whole "finishing each other's sentences" was slightly annoying, but he was getting used to it, sort of. Amazing. Even after all that's happened she'd still rather hear it from Aki herself. I wonder if Aki will ever have enough courage to do so... If she did she might very well begin to recover a lot faster. Hmm this young woman is helping Aki more than I thought possible after its been so long...

That was a good question, where was Aki? They weren't too far off from the dormitories so he should've been able to tell if Aki had made it back but so far he hadn't sensed her... "I wouldn't worry too much about her. For the time being she's..." he momentarily stopped as he faintly felt her mind. "She's in my room. She'll be quite safe I should think. Despite not looking like it, she's much like you. She can handle herself in most situations. Her powers... reflect that of a silent killer almost, but as you can tell in her heart and soul she would never want to willingly harm anyone, vampire or human."

Yamiyo stopped focusing on Aki and let his range return to its normal state. He could reach out further by concentrating, but it only had positive effects if he was locating a particular person and if that person was close to him in some way, meaning only Aki and a very small handful of others. Odd... to think that Aki stayed that long in the Shadow Realm. She must be exhausted by now. I'll have to go and check in on her soon, he thought, but he would wait a few minutes to see if Hanashi or the twins had anything important to add.

"Eh, it's fine", Hikaru shrugged his shoulders."We get that alot" Kaoru added, also shrugging his shoulders."Ahh I see, so she's back in the moorn dorms..", she quietly mumbled to herself.She smiled a bit "I don't doubt that she can take care of herself... but everyone has a weakness... or breaking point, don't ever forget that", a sigh left her lips as she looked up, her eyes looking at the moon.Hikaru, Kaoru...", the twins looked at her when she said their name, but she wasn't done."Aki and you... I always thought all vampires were bad, guess I was wrong"

Hikaru stared at Hanashi, wondering why she said that.Sure, she had seen agressive vampires when he father was training her, in fact, she got scared one time when her father was attacked by the vampire and couldn't move.Now, the twins weren't there, they heard it from her.It was a normal reaction she had when she was young.

"Hana, that reminds me," Kaoru started as he looked at Hanashi as well "Why are you even out of your dorm?Shouldn't you get back before you get in trouble?", it wasn't as if he didn't want her here.He wanted Hanashi to stay with them till dawn, but she had class in the morning, so she couldn't.Besides the twins noticed her eyes seemed kinda sleepy.She would always try to stay up with them, but couldn't.A yawn escaped her lips."I guess you're right.. and the reason that I was out of my dorm was.. just checking to see if everything was ok", they looked at her as if not beliveing her words, but shrugged it off.

"They are right, though.. I should be getting back to my dorm..", the twins were about to open their mouths to say they'll accompany her, but she shut them up by saying "And, no.I don't need you guys to accompany me, I can take cre of myself.The three of you should go back to you're dorms..",the twins, quickly at her side hugged her, their heads ontop of hers "Awww!Good night then, Hana!", they said together, still hugging her."Off, now" she managed to say, and they obeyed.Hanashi looked at Yamiyo "Well, good night, Yamiyo...", she pasued, wondering if she should say something."Tell Aki.. to stay strong, and you too"

Hikaru and Kaoru smiled.Looks like Hanashi made two friends in one night, at least that's what the twins thought.Still, when she left they were gonna bother Yamiyo.They chuckled mentally, thinking of their 'plan'.
