returning home

Jeno climbed out of the taxi and heaving his bag over his shoulder. out of his uniform he was wearing his street clothes: Light brown open dress shirt, jeans, and several wristbands. it was sunny, calming sky with a light breeze in Jeno's home town up at the small house on the rig over looking 'sunset town' . He'd returned home to have thanksgiving with the family hopefully things won't be too rough "welcome back lunchboy" Roy (the second eldest brother) said from the shade of a tree with a toothpick in his mouth, pale blonde hair fell over one eye as he walked past Jeno "nice to see you to Roy. where's everybody else?" Jeno asked following him when a knife hit the ground in front of him wobbling from the impact, looking up his sister Maybell who had very long brown hair and cold eyes (eldest sister) was on the roof stretching "hey Lunchboy can't believed i missed.." Maybell sighed disappointed, Jeno continued on inside and the second he stepped through the door a punch knocked him across the face. "your getting slow baby brother.." Mark (eldest brother) laughed picking Jeno up off the floor, he looked alot like jeno only with a shaved head "aw don't hurt lil lunchboy" Karen (youngest sister but still 1 year older than Jeno) mocked from the kitchen, she had blue dyed hair in pigtails which really stuck out in the dull house "will you all knock it off so we can eat already" Harken (third eldest brother) sighed from the table, cigar lit always wearing the same old green visor. "where's Suze?" Jeno asked as everyone sat down at the table with the exception of father, suze(2nd eldest daughter) who had bright orange hair. "working." Roy said lazily, working always ment out hunting a vampire. Father walked in, he was a bit portly and very gruff, having one arm didn't give you alot of chances to be soft "Lunchboy go get your sister" Father stated not looking at Jeno.

"Suze? where are ya!" jeno shouted walking down an alley, it was dark and the moon was full, Jeno saw a blood trail on the ground and started following slowly "hello?' jeno asked nearing a young woman crouching over a dead man's corpse "J-jeno?" the young woman said whirling around but was wearing a hood so Jeno couldn't see who it was "don't move vampire" jeno said coldly already having his Leviathan in his hands aiming a arrow right at the stranger "oh come now...remember me?" The stranger said walking slowly towards him -that voice....where have i...no- Jeno thought his hands shaking, the stranger was an inch from his face "maybe this'll jolt your memory" She teased then bit into his neck, Jeno sat there wide eyed unmoving as she sucked his blood "how...who?...i-it can't be" Jeno stuttered but was silenced as she suddenly passionatly kissed him on the mouth, he could taste his own blood. The stranger backed up for a moment and suddenly he heard his sister Suze shouted "get away from her!" as jeno sank to his knee still unmoving, the stranger ran off as Suze came running up the jeno and crouched next to him "Jeno! are you ok? when'd you get here?" Suze asked franticly ".....how.....Erin...alive?" Jeno said that was all he could manage.

Jeno woke up back at the house in his old room he had shared with his brothers, voices were coming from outside the door "i thought we got rid of her." Mark growled towards Roy "you know we couldn't or hell would've broken loose. we'd have a war if we killed her" Roy said calmly "stop fighting. we needed Jeno to believe she was gone so he wouldn't throw his life away like that...living with that thing. she was raised by Purebloods even though she isn't one, you all know every vampire listens to Purebloods and they would've called in every single D, aristocrat, within the entire area to kill us." Father shouted coldly silencing them, Jeno walked over to the door "but i saw her fangs i heard her die!" Jeno shouted furiously "listen to me son. you heard her die. you didn't see it. you have the truth now get to bed i'll deal with you in the morning" Father ordered, Jeno listened and went back to bed, there was no way he could take his family on but he knew he needed to find her again.

Jeno was leaving his house early the next morning and was walking down the porch steps “what're you doin Jeno...” Roy said from the shadows “don't try to stop me Roy.” Jeno said ready to fight “i won't but don't come back here...gonna be all hell breaking loose when the rest wake up. hope you find answers i could give you but i'm not gonna” Roy said going inside, Jeno continued down towards town heaving his bag over his shoulder.

Jeno had found out rumors of beatiful people living in a mansion out in the woods which Jeno knew instantly thats where he was heading. the mansion gave an eery feel to it as Jeno knocked on its front door, a woman who looked about 40 but still very beatiful answered the door “well now whats a strong looking thing like yourself doing out here” She asked with a southern accent looking him up and down with hungry eyes “uh..well..” Jeno stuttered extremly nervous “aw shoot your already tagged..doesn't rule anything out though” She said spotting the bite mark on his neck winking “Yea...does Erin live here?” Jeno asked feeling very uncomfortable now “why yes why don't you come on in and take a seat while i fetch her” She said pulling him in and pushing him into the Foyor where several more woman who seemed roughly the same age sat around all focusing on him “....uh.....hi?” Jeno said breaking the silence “I'm Jeno...Talborn..here for Erin? we have to talk” Jeno said trying to seem confident “oh..thats a shame...” One of them said dissapointed and walked over the Jeno resting a hand on his shoulder “Back off Aunttie Rose..” Erin said suddenly coming up next to jeno pushing Aunt Roses arm off then taking him outside onto the porch “sorry cougar central in there” Erin said nervously “talk about timing. How are you still alive?” Jeno asked “how are you?” Erin said giving him a funny look “i heard you scream and Father said he killed you”Jeno said trying to understand it all

“you know what who cares. because all i care about is that your still alive and i am” Jeno said not wanting to try and understand it all “what? we can't just forget about-” Erin said before Jeno silenced her with a kiss “your right it doesn't matter” Erin said breaking away “so where have you been?” Erin asked “Cross Academy. dullest place on earth” Jeno laughed “aw thats sweet. Erin you are going there”A drunk Aunt Rose said stumbling out onto the porch “what?” Erin asked “you heard me i'm not so mean like everyone else and i know true love when i see it, i have full custody now stop whatting me and go!” Aunt rose stuttered drunkenly before falling down “great job Jeno now i have to go to school” Erin moaned poking the passed out Aunt Rose with her foot “yep its all part of my evil plan” Jeno laughed, then swiftly picked up Aunt Rose, took her inside and dumped her on the couch in the Foyer “alright i'm gonna go grab a taxi. cya when ya get there” Jeno said hugging Erin with a grin the walked out the door towards town to grab a taxi
